Naga Chaitanya To Make His Bollywood Debut With Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha

Mumbai, July 9, 2021; Telugu star Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his grand Bollywood with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor will step into Vijay Sethupathi's role after later withdrew from this much-anticipated comedy-drama film.

The shooting of the film has resumed in Ladakh and Naga Chaitanya has joined the cast for a few key parts. The shoot will last about 20 days. Chaitanya took to social media and shared a photo of his character, Bala, with Aamir Khan, producer Kiran Rao, and director Advait Chandan.

Laal Singh Chaddha is a comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures, the movie is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name.

Naga Chaitanya has undergone extensive training in order to achieve the physique required for this character in the film that also stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead. He has gone to great lengths to immerse himself in his job and create the army guy look.
