Nani Calls Hindi Remake Of Jersey, 'A True Good Cinema'

Mumbai, April 22 - Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur's sports drama, "Jersey" has been released in theaters and it is getting super positive responses from the viewers. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie is the official Hindi remake of his own Telugu movie of the same name.

Telugu star Nani, who played the lead role in the original Telugu movie, has reviewed the Hindi version and calls it a true good cinema. He lauded director Gowtam and the cast of the film for their superlative performances.

Produced by Geetha Arts, Dil Raju Production, Sithara Entertainments, and Brat Films, "Jersey" is about a cricketer who quits cricket and decides to revive his career at the age of 36 for his son's dream and prove his ability. Arjun is aiming to play for the Indian national team to fulfill his son's desire for a jersey.

The movie marks the Hindi directorial debut of Gowtam Tinnanuri. It also stars Pankaj Kapur, Ronit Kamra, Geetika Mehandru, Shishir Sharma, Rudrashish Majumdar, and Rituraj Singh in key roles.
