Nani's Action Drama 'Dasara' Attracts Record Pre-Release Theatrical Business

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Dasara is getting hyped with its aggressive promotional strategies and it is easily the most-anticipated film of Nani. It is also getting hot in trade and the makers have closed the theatrical business at a record price.

Previously, it was reported that the makers are asking for high prices in all territories along with overseas markets. Now, the latest Telugu trade reports suggest the makers have locked theatrical business at more or less the price they have been demanding.

It is revealed that the Telugu states rights have been sold at approx. 34 crores. The Andhra Pradesh theatrical rights are valued at 20 Crores while Telangana's rights are sold approx. 14 crores. It will be released by Dil Rajun in Telangana.

The worldwide theatrical rights have been valued at approx. 43 crores and the movie will need to score over 43 crores share to break even. Looking at the tremendous hype for the film, it should easily reach the break-even target.
