NXT Champion Plans Scrapped for Roxanne Perez Due to Injury

Former NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez is set to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the title at NXT Stand & Deliver, but a new report reveals scrapped plans due to an injury. ## Perez has recently undergone a character shift, turning heel for the first time. Fans speculated this filled the spot originally intended for her former tag team partner and rival Cora Jade, who suffered a torn ACL in January. ## Fightful Select reports that according to NXT sources, Perez wasn't taking Jade's planned spot. Instead, WWE planned to reunite Perez and Jade as heels before Jade's injury. The pair had won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships together in 2022 but broke up shortly after when Jade turned on Perez.## Despite the scrapped plans, reports indicate high praise for Perez. One NXT source described her as "professional beyond her years," while another stated "the sky is the limit" for the 22-year-old star.## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

The passenger insists, mentioning the Don, leaving Dragunov with a difficult decision. ## Fallon Henley (with Kelani Jordan and Thea Hail) vs Jacy Jayne (with Jazmyn Nyx, Kiana James, and Izzi Dame) ## Jacy and Fallon lock up, trading takedowns and grappling for control. Jacy gains the upper hand with a hair pull and waist lock, but Fallon fights back with a back elbow and a sliding trip.
