After 2024, No Film of Superstar Shah Rukh Khan In 2025 Also?

Mumbai, September 4 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a roaring comeback on the big screen with three back-to-back big box office successes in 2023 in the form of Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki which combined grossed over 2600 crores worldwide.

2023 proved to be a dominating year for Bollywood, thanks to the major contribution from the aforementioned three films. It was also a year to remember for Shah Rukh Khan and his fans, however, 2024 hasn't been the same for them with not a single release.

According to the latest buzz in the industry, The King is targeting an early 2026 release, which means no Shah Rukh Khan film for the second year in a row at a time when he is at the top of his game. While it's a long wait for the fans, it is also a loss to some extent for exhibitors who hugely benefitted from SRK's last three films in 2023.

Apart from The King, Shah Rukh Khan also has Yash Raj Films' Pathaan 2, which is expected to go on floors by 2025, and Tiger vs Pathaan. Both films are likely to be released only after 2026.
