Prabhas' Film With Prashant Varma Confirmed

Hyderabad, February 25 - Over the last few months, there have been reports of Pan India superstar Prabhas teaming up with Hanuman director Prasanth Varma for a big-budget film. The filmmaker also teased the collaboration in a recent interview without naming the actor.

Now, the latest development is that the project in question has officially been confirmed. According to the latest Telugu media reports, the look test of Prabhas for the movie is scheduled for either Wednesday or Thursday in Hyderabad.

It is said that Hombale Films will be producing this movie. The studio has signed a three-film deal (excluding Salaar Part 1) with Prabhas and reportedly, a film with director Prasanth Varma is one of them. The official confirmation, however, is yet to be made.

There is no shooting timeline locked yet for Prabhas' movie with Varma but with the latest development, it looks like the film will start sooner than expected. Prabhas is currently shooting for director Hanu Raghavapudi's Fauji and Maruthi's The Raja Saab. He will start Sandeep Reddy Vanga's hugely-awaited Spirit by May this year.

Meanwhile, the next release for the actor is The Raja Saab, slated to hit the screens later this year. Varma, on the other hand, also has the sequel to last year's big blockbuster Hanuman - Jai Hanuman starring Rishab Shetty.
