Prabhas' The Raja Saab Lands In Legal Trouble
Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against co-producer People Media Factory (PMF). The production house claims it invested a staggering 218 crore for theatrical and non-theatrical rights, co-presenter credits, and guaranteed returns.
According to reports, Ivy Entertainment alleged that PMF failed to fulfil several critical commitments, including completing and releasing the film within the agreed timeline, monthly production updates, disclosing how funds were being utilised, delivering agreed materials, and postponing the theatrical release without justification.
The company has reportedly demanded either a full refund of 218 crores with 18% annual interest or control of the project to complete and release the film themselves to safeguard its substantial investment. The movie is reportedly being made on a 400 crore budget.
Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is scheduled to release on December 5, 2025, but reliable reports have confirmed that it will be postponed to January 9, 2026. The official confirmation, however, is not been made yet.
