RAPO20: Ram Pothineni Announced His First Pan-India Movie With 'Akhanda' Director

Hyderabad, February 19 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni is going Pan-India with his next film and has joined hands with director Boyapati Srinu, who is on cloud nine after the recent box office hit "Akhanda". Tentatively titled, #RAPO20 or #BoyapatiRapo, the movie will be produced by Srinivasaa Chhitturi under his banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen.

The formal announcement of the movie was made by the actor himself on his Twitter account as he is super excited to team up with 'Daddy of Mass emotions', Boyapati Srinu. "Super kicked to announce my 20th film! #RAPO20 is #BoyapatiRapo!! Excited to see myself through the eyes of the Daddy of Mass emotions Boyapati garu", RAPO captioned the post.

Talking about the collaboration, actor Ram Pothineni says, "I am happy to be collaborating with Boyapati Srinu Sir and Srinivasaa Silver Screen, Boyapti Sreenu is a huge mass director. Our forthcoming project is a dream project for me and together I am sure we will make a great film. The story of the film has a mass appeal and I am happy to be associated with this project".

#RAPO20 is touted to be a mass actioner that will be made on a lavish budget. The yet-untitled film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The details about the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, Ram Pothineni is currently shooting for the Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie, "The Warriorr", under the direction of N. Lingusamy. It is also being produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under Srinivasa Silver Screen. The "iSmart Shankar" actor is playing a cop in the film while Krithi Shetty essays female lead and Aadhi Pinisetty and Akshara Gowda play supporting roles. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
