Ranveer Singh's Film With Director Prasanth Varma Officially Shelved
Hyderabad, May 30 - Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was supposed to headline Telugu director Prasanth Varma's next film, titled Rakshas, however, the movie has now been officially shelved over creative differences, turning rumours true. Mythri Movie Makers was supposed to produce the movie.

A couple of weeks back, it was revealed that Ranveer and Prasanth amicably parted ways but later, the movie team shared that the project was still on. And now, putting all the rumours to rest, the makers have shared an official statement, confirming that the movie is not happening anymore.

In the statement, Ranveer Singh said, "Prasanth is a very special talent. We met and explored the idea of a film together. Hopefully, we will collaborate on something exciting in the future". Varma said, "Ranveer's energy and talent is rare to find. We shall manifest our forces combining soon sometime in the future.

Ranveer Singh, meanwhile, will next be headling director Aditya Dhar's spy actioner for which the shoot is expected to commence in July/August this year. He also has Don 3 and the superhero movie Shakitmaan in the pipeline, slated to go on floors next year. Prasanth Varma, on the other hand, has the sequel to this year's mega-blockbuster Hanuman, titled Jai Hanuman.
