Ravi Teja's 'Rama Rao On Duty' New Release Date Revealed

Hyderabad, March 22 - Telugu star Ravi Teja has been working on multiple films. He was last seen in "Khiladi", which was released in February this year, and now gearing up for his next, titled "Ramarao on Duty". It is currently in the post-production stage.

"Ramarao On Duty" was supposed to release on March 25, but stand postponed due to the SS Rajamouli's "RRR", which has been confirmed to release on March 25. Now, the latest development is that Sarath Mandava's directorial debut will be hitting worldwide theaters on June 17, 2022.

The official announcement regarding the release date was made on Wednesday (March 23).

There were some reports stating that "Ramarao On Duty" might release on April 15. However, that release date was already ruled out as two of the biggest movies, "Beast" and "KGF: Chapter 2" are releasing on April 13, and 14, respectively, which will also be released in Telugu.

Meanwhile, the teaser of the film was released a few weeks ago and received appreciation. In the film, Ravi Teja essays the role of Ramarao, an honest civil servant, who takes on corrupt men in power to help the people suffering from poverty.

Produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas and RT Team Works, the movie also stars Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Kaushik as the female leads while Nasser, Sr Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, 'Sarpatta' John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, and Surekha Vani in supporting roles.
