Sai Pallavi Issues Clarification Over Her Comments On Kashmiri Hindus
Hyderabad, June 18 - Actress Sai Pallavi has issued a clarification over her remarks on Kashmiri Pandits and cow smugglers in her recent interview. During the interview, the actress drew parallels with The Kashmir Files and the beating up of cow smuggling Muslims in Uttar Pradesh.
Pallavi's remarks didn't go well with people as they slammed the actress even Bajrang dal activists filed a police case against her. Now, the "Virata Parvam" actress took to social media a give clarification via a video.
In the video, Pallavi said that her remarks in the interview were misunderstood by people. She said that she comes from a family that taught her to love all human beings irrespective of their religion. Sai Pallavi also remembered that after watching "The Kashmir Files", she interacted with director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and told him that the movie shook her to the core.
Sai Pallavi is known for her simple leaving and never indulges in any controversy. However, she received criticism for her interview in which she allegedly compared the killing of Kashmiri Hindus with the beating of cow smuggling Muslims.
Veteran actress Vijayashanthi had also blasted Sai Pallavi on her Twitter account. Vijayashanthi on her Twitter page wrote, "Denouncing the killings of sacred cows shouldn't be compared to the Kashmiri genocide. She further explained that we can realize that both are not the same if we think for a second".
