Samantha Ruth Prabhu To Head Dream Warrior Pictures' Tamil-Telugu Bilingual Film

Hyderabad, October 15 - Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu returns to the action and signs her first project after separation from Naga Chaitanya. The Oh Baby actress will be starring in a Tamil - Telugu bilingual film to be directed by debutant Shantaruban Gnanasekharan.

SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures, which delivered blockbuster Kaithi and currently producing Sharwanand and Ritu Varma starrer Oke Oka Jeevitham, will be bankrolling Samantha's next. Touted to be a different type of love story, the film will be produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu.

The makers announced the film and also revealed the first look poster in which Samantha is looking gloomy. "We are happy to announce that @Samanthaprabhu2 is on board for our next! Directed by @Shantharuban87", read the caption.

The 34-year old, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the romantic drama film "Jaanu" (2020), which is the remake of the Tamil film "96". The actress recently completed the shoot of the mythological drama film "Shaakuntalam" in which she plays the title role. She also "Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal" with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as two other lead characters.
