Sanjay Dutt Dropped From 'Son of Sardaar 2': Report
Mumbai, August 6 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn-fronted Son of Sardaar 2 has reportedly dropped actor Sanjay Devgn from its massive ensamble cast due to the visa denial for the United Kingdom. The action comedy is being directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.



The shooting for Son of Sardaar 2 recently commenced in Scotland, the UK with Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur joining the first schedule. According to the latest report by mid-day, Sanjay Dutt was supposed to join the team in the ongoing schedule but has now been dropped due to visa issues.

Mid-Day has reported that Dutt's visa application was rejected because of his incarceration in the past. The actor was unable to procure a UK visa in the past as well. Actor Ravi Kishan, who has been roped in to play a prominent role, has reportedly replaced Sanjay Dutt in the movie.



It is to be noted that the makers of Son of Sardaar 2 haven't officially announced the cast of the movie yet. The much-anticipated sequel is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, NR Pachisia and Pravin Talreja and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak under the banners of Ajay Devgn Films and Jio Studios.



Son of Sardaar 2 will be released in the second half of 2025.
