Sanjay Dutt Gets Paid Hefty Remuneration For Puri Jagannadh's 'Double iSmart'

Hyderabad, August 2 - Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is getting busy in the South Indian film industry with back-to-back films in multiple languages. The actor recently officially announced his maiden Telugu movie "Double iSmart" with director Puri Jagannadh.



"Double iSmart", which is the sequel to "iSmart Shankar", will see Ram Pothineni reprising his lead role. Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the main antagonist and the makers recently launched his first look poster as Big Bull.

Now, according to Aakashavaani, the "Munna Bhai MBBS" star got paid a hefty remuneration of 15 crores for his role. The actor will be shooting for 60 days for the film that recently completed its first schedule in Mumbai. The second schedule will commence soon abroad.



"Double iSmart" promises to be bigger on the scale and budget. The first movie was a huge blockbuster and the makers are hell-bent to repeat that with the sequel as well. Unlike the predecessor, the sequel is being made for the Pan Indian audiences and it will be released on March 8, 2024, in multiple languages, including Hindi.
