Shershaah Review: Here Is What Twitterati Talking About Vikram Batra's Biopic
Mumbai, August 12, 2021: The biopic of Kargil hero Vikram Batra, "Shershaah", starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani finally premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. The movie revolves around the life of army captain and param veer charka awardee, Batra, who sacrificed his life to protect the nation during the Kargil war with Pakistan.
The movie is directed by Vishnu Varadhan in his Hindi directorial debut and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in association with Kaash Entertainment. Sidharth Malhotra plays a double role, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal while Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema, Vikram Batra's fiancé.
The movie also Shiv Pandit, Nikitin Dheer, Shataf Figar, Sahil Vaid, Jaaved Jaaferi, Anil Charanjeett, Pawan Chopra, among others. Upon Shershaah's digital release, the film received critical acclaim from critics and audiences, with praise towards the perfomance of Sidharth Malhotra, direction by Vishnuvardhan & screenplay.
