Siddharth Anand To Direct Shah Rukh Khan's 'King'

King, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan, was supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh who has now been replaced by Anand. The shoot of the film is expected to commence in March 2025 for a grand worldwide release in 2026.

"The prep work for this action-packed entertainer has been underway for the last 6 months, as Siddharth Anand and his team have done multiple rounds of recce all across the globe and also designed path-breaking action sequences with stunt directors of international repute", according to Pinkvilla.

The film is written by Sujoy Ghosh with Siddharth Anand, Suresh Nair and Sagar Pandya while Abbas Tyrewala penned the dialogue. It is said that the film will have explosive action and will have some of the biggest action sequences of Indian Cinema, competing with global standards.

Meanwhile, apart from SRK, Suhana, and Abhishek, the makers are in the process of locking an A-list actress to pair with the King Khan. The announcement for the same is expected to be made soon.
