Strong Start In Pre-Sales For Prabhas' 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Re-Release

Salaar has been trending on Disney Plus Hotstar for more than a year now as the movie is slowly becoming popular nationwide. Cashing on this opportunity, the makers decided to re-release it across the country and the decision is proving right as it's off to a strong start in the pre-sales.

Eight days ahead of the re-release, the bookings for the film opened and on its first day, it sold over 25K tickets on the first day. The trend continues to be strong on the second day and so far, it has sold nearly 50K total tickets which is excellent.

If the trend remains strong, then Salaar can emerge as the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office and this looks certain as it has reached more people due to OTT and there is unanimous acknowledgement for its big screen experience.

The box office result of Salaar re-release might also dictate the term for its sequel which is scheduled to start rolling later this year.
