Superstar Mohanlal's Much-Awaited 'L2: Empuran' Release Date Revealed
Kochi, March 11 - Superstar Mohanlal's hugely-awaited action thriller film L2: Empuraan, the second instalment of the mega-blockbuster Lucifer, is currently in the production stage. The movie is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran who also plays a key role in it.



L2E has been filming since last year and the makers recently completed a major schedule in the USA. There have been a lot of enquiry about the movie's release date but the makers are yet to make it official. However, the latest exciting rumour has surfaced online.



According to Malayalam news portals, L2E will be hitting worldwide theatres in the summer of 2025 while some reports say it will make its grand big-screen debut on the 6th anniversary of the first movie in March next year. The makers are expected to make the official announcement of the release date after the shoot compilation.



The film is jointly produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions and Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas and is written by Murali Gopy. It stars Mohanlal as Khureshi-Ab'raam/Stephen Nedumpally, reprising his role from the original, alongside Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, and Tovino Thomas in the returning cast.
