T-Series Unveils First Look Poster And A New Release Date of 'Yaariyan 2'

Mumbai, August 9 - The sequel to 2014's coming-of-age romantic film "Yaariyan" has been in production since last year and makers have finally dropped the first look poster along with a new release date. It is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, known for directing "Sanam Teri Kasam".

On Wednesday (August 9), the makers took to social media to release the first-look poster, featuring Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezaan Jafri, and Pearl V Puri. The poster is eye-catching in which Divya is portrayed with her back to the camera with a cigarette in her hand in Lehenga with both the male actors standing on either side of her.

With the first look poster, the makers also announced that the teaser will be out tomorrow (August 10) while the movie will be hitting worldwide cinemas on October 20, on the occasion of Dussehra. It will clash with Tiger Shroff's much-awaited "Ganapath Part 1" along with a couple of other movies.

Produced by T-Series, "Yaariyan 2" also stars Yash Dasgupta, Anaswara Ranjan, Warina Hussain, and Priya Varrier. The movie follows the journeys of three cousins, Shikhar, Ladli, and Bajrang, as they navigate their adventures, dreams and self-discovery in Mumbai. It beautifully explores the theme of friendship, love and the transformative power of human relations.
