The Script Of Fukrey 3 Is Ready, Director Mrigdeep Lamba Announces

The director of Fukrey films, Mrigdeep Lamba, on Monday (September 14) took to social media and announced that he has finalized the script of the 3rd film of the Fukrey franchise.

The filmmaker, who has also written the script of the film, shared a picture of three books, with Fukrey volume one, two, and three written on them. Fukrey will see Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh returning in lead roles.

Earlier, in June, Mrigdeep Lamba announced Fukrey 3 by sharing a meme featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, and Pulkit Samrat.

In the photo, Pankaj Tripathi's character, Pandit Ji, can be seen indicating "Teesra part taiyyar ho raha hai (The part is in the making)". Along with the meme, Mrigdeep shared two photos of Pankaj Tripathi and wrote, "#flashbackfukrey #memeries Panditji ki bavishyawani".

Recently, Mrigdeep told the news agency, PTI, "This part too will have a strong message that people will take away and it will be delivered in a humorous way. The original story doesn't mention it (about Covid-19). But we have been contemplating. We have discussed it. We need to be careful about how we show it (Covid-19 situation), it shouldn't seem forceful".
