The Teaser of 'Kannappa' To Be Launched At The Cannes Film Festival

Recently, the makers revealed that Akshay Kumar and Prabhas have been roped in to play important cameo roles, taking the excitement to the next level with this announcement. Now, it has been revealed that the teaser of the much-awaited movie will be launched at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

Taking to social media, Vishnu Manchu shared the news that the teaser of Kannappa will be launched on May 20 at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, best known for his television adaptations of the Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Produced by Mohan Babu through his companies AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa also stars Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, and Nayanathara, among others in key roles. The movie revisits the folk tale of Kannappa, an atheist hunter who became a devotee of the Hindu god Shiva and plucked out his eyes in an act of extreme devotion.
