The Title Of Shahid Kapoor's Amazon Prime Video Series Revealed

Mumbai, April 28 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor teamed up with director duo Raj & DK for an Amazon Prime Video series, which marks his digital debut. The series has been in production since last year and the shoot for the same has already been completed.

Amazon Prime Video, during an event in Mumbai on April 28, revealed that the title of Shahid Kapoor's digital debut series is "Farzi". It's an explosive action-thriller that also stars Raashii Khanna as the female lead along with Vijay Sethupathi and Kay Kay Menon.

Earlier, there have been many reports regarding the title of the series. However, none was confirmed in those reports and finally, the streamer has revealed what it is. Planned as a two-season project, this series will see Shahid in the titular role, performing some acutely designed daredevil action sequences.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor was recently seen in the sports drama movie, "Jersey", which couldn't do well at the box office. The movie is still playing in theaters but it isn't performing the way the makers would have hoped for. It got good reviews from critics and audiences alike but that couldn't help the movie at the box office.
