The Title and Plot Details of Ranveer Singh's Next With Prasanth Varma Revealed

Hyderabad, April 29 - Recently, it was reported that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh would be headlining Hanuman director Prasanth Varma's next film which will be a part of the director's Cinematic Universe. Mythri Movie Makers came on board to produce the film.

According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the formal Pooja was done recently on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Hyderabad. The report revealed that the movie in question has been titled Rakshas and is said to be a period film set in the Pre-Independence Era with a mythological backdrop.

Ranveer Singh's character will reportedly have shades of negative force in the film. It is said to be Prasanth Varma's immediate next with a shoot planned later this year. The filmmaker also has Jai Hanuman which will feature a massive ensemble cast.

Ranveer Singh, meanwhile, will also headline URI director Aditya Dhar's next which is currently in the pre-production stage. The yet-untitled movie is expected to start shooting in the second half of 2024 for a grand 2025 release.
