Mumbai, 13 November - Fronted by Salman Khan, "Tiger 3" has shattered Diwali day records at the domestic box office by a considerable margin and appears set to achieve one of the most significant openings for a Bollywood movie.





On its first day at the box office, Salman Khan's "Tiger 3" notched the position of being the highest opener ever for the superstar, accumulating a net collection of 43 crores in Hindi. This opening establishes "Tiger 3" as Salman Khan's most substantial starter, surpassing the record set by "Bharat," which secured 42.30 crores net in 2019.





The remarkable opening of "Tiger 3" on Diwali is particularly noteworthy, especially considering the challenges posed by Laxmi Pooja, even though Salman Khan's prior highest opener, "Bharat," coincided with a national holiday.





Released on Diwali, "Tiger 3" is anticipated to maintain its robust performance at the box office in the days to come. While critics have provided mixed reviews, fans are lauding the film for its action sequences and Salman Khan's performance.

Mumbai, November 20 - Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's sci-fi actioner Ganapath: A Hero Is Born has completed its painful journey at the box office with zero return. Vikas Bahl's directorial film was touted to be a never-before-seen before sci-fi thriller but the audiences didn't turn to see it in theatres. ## Produced by Pooja Entertainment, "Ganapath" was released on October 20 during the Dussehra weekend but its fate was almost sealed after it opened to a disaster number of 2.50 crores net. The extremely negative reviews and audiences' word of mouth made sure it died down in the opening weekend itself with a net collection of 7 crores. ## Though the collections of the film were negligible after the opening weekend, the lack of a big release kept it in theatres for a couple of weeks. The Maneesh Sharma-directorial movie scored the 4th highest first seven days cumulative collection for a Bollywood movie. ## "Tiger 3" scored an estimated 17 crores net collection in all versions on its first Saturday (7th day) which takes its total collection to around 217 crores in 7 days. In Hindi, the movie scored an estimated 16-17 crores, making it the 6th biggest first 7 days cumulative collection scorer. ## With a collection of approximately 212+ crores in 7 days, "Tiger 3" has become the 34th film ever to enter the 200 crores net box office club in Hindi. Today's collection will make it the 27th biggest Hindi net grosser of all time. ## "Tiger 3", which is the 5th film in YRF's Spy Universe, needed to score the big second weekend to stay in the race to top 300 crores net. It has become the 9th film of the actor to do so and the first since "Bharat" in 2019. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, "Tiger 3" was released on Sunday, November 12, on the day of Diwali and took the biggest opening for the actor as well as for a Diwali day release. The movie showed a good jump on its second day to collect close to 60 crores net before holding well on Tuesday. The biz dropped a bit on its 4th day due to the World Cup match but managed to hold well on the following day. ## "Tiger 3" has scored approximately 187.65 crores net collection in the first five days in all versions, which is the highest ever first 5-day cumulative collection for Salman Khan. The film managed to top the opening day collection of 43 crores net on its third day with 43.50 crores, despite the little drop in multiplexes. ## Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" is the biggest grosser in the first 3-day opening weekend with 180.45 crores, followed by "Pathaan" with 161 crores. "Tiger 3" didn't have a usual weekend as it was released on Sunday, but it benefitted due to the Diwali holidays. Mumbai, November 14 - Tiger 3 shows a strong hold on its third day as collections are likely to be over 40 crores net in the Hindi language. In the morning, the movie had a big drop from the opening day but the evening and night shows witnessed huge growth to make up for the drop and now, the collection is nearing the day 1 numbers. ## The Salman Khan-led actioner scored an estimated 41-42 crores net in Hindi, dropping just around 4% from the Diwali opening day. The total Hindi collection of the movie has reached around 142 crores net and all versions around 146 crores in 3 days. Given the estimates hold, it will be the 4th biggest first three-day collection ever in Hindi after Jawan, Pathaan, and KGF: Chapter 2. ## The Hindi collection of the film today might match the opening day numbers but a lot depends on the size of the drop as some areas are below the opening day while in Gujarat, the collection has jumped from the opening day due to the New Year.
