Mumbai, July 10 - The second half of 2025 is loaded with many potential big blockbusters at the Indian box office. IMDb, one of the most trusted sources to know the hype for a movie, has unveiled the list of the top 10 most anticipated Indian movies from July to December 2025.
The top 10 most-anticipated Indian movie list shared by IMDb includes movies of different Indian languages, with the Hindi film industry leading with seven movies, followed by one each from the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam industries.

1. Coolie (Tamil) – Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and starring superstar Rajinikanth alongside Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Aamir Khan (cameo), the action drama is scheduled to release August 14, 2025 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is produced by Sun Pictures.
2. War 2 (Hindi) – Starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, the spy action thriller is directed by Brahmastra fame Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. The movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
3. The Raja Saab (Telugu) – The horror-comedy, starring Pan India superstar Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, and Niddhi Agarwal, is directed by Maruthi. The movie is slated to debut in theatres on December 5, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.
4. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan (Hindi) – The romantic drama stars Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor in the leading roles. It is directed by Santosh Singh and is scheduled to release on July 18, 2025.
5. Saiyaara (Hind) – Yash Raj Films' romantic film, which introduces Ahaan Panday in the Hindi film industry and also stars Aneet Padda as the female lead, is directed by Mohit Suri. It is set to release on July 18, 2025, in theatres worldwide.
