Vicky Kaushal-Fronted 'Sam Bahadur' Release Date Locked
Mumbai, December 1 - Director Meghna Gulzar is all set to bring the biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw to the big screen, in the form of Sam Bahadur. Vicky Kaushal is playing the title role of the legendary war hero.



On Thursday (December 1), producer Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies confirmed the release date of this biographical war drama film, and it will be hitting worldwide theaters on 1st December 2023, which is exactly one year from today.



The makers announced the release date of the movie with the first look glimpse. It is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.



The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
