'War 2' Teaser Clocks 70+ Million Views In The First 24 Hours
Mumbai, May 21 - The first teaser of Yash Raj Films' highly anticipated spy action thriller War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, has received a thunderous response across social media platforms, with mostly positive talk around it. The teaser was launched on May 20, on the occasion of Jr. NTR's birthday.



Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the teaser scored a huge 70+ million views on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook in the first 24 hours. On TY alone, the blockbuster promo scored 25+ million views, including 20+ million views in the Hindi version.



The talk around the teaser is mostly positive, with the main criticism being for VFX, which looked subpar. However, the social media users are praising Hrithik and NTR, who have been pitched against each other in this high-octane actioner, which is the 6th film in the YRF Spy Universe.



War 2 marks Jr. NTR's Bollywood debut, and trade believes that his casting can prove to be a game-changer. It also stars Kiara Advani in the female lead role, along with Ashutosh Rana, while the rest of the cast has not been revealed yet.



Produced by Yash Raj Film, War 2 is scheduled to hit the big screen on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
