War Does Well On Second Saturday
War is heading towards 300 Cr India net pretty quickly. On its second Saturday, War performed brilliantly and earned roughly 11.80 Cr India net for all languages. It jumped nearly 45% from yesterday and was way ahead than 'The Sky Is Pink' and 'Sye Raa Narashima Reddy'.
War recorded the higher numbers in Bengaluru, and Hyderabad than most of the cities of the North region. The occupancy in Bengaluru and Hyderabad was nearly 55% which is almost double from Delhi and Mumbai. However, these circuits have more than 50% fewer shows than that of Delhi and Mumbai. Chennai, which has the lowest number of shows with just 17, has the highest occupancy for the day among the main cities with nearly 70%.
Morning Shows: 10%-15%
Afternoon Shows: 27%-32%
Evening Shows: 35%-40%
Night Shows: 37%-42%
Very much like War, it also has had a slow start with nearly 10% occupancy in the morning but as the day progressed, it kept increasing, especially in the night shows where the occupancy was around 45%. Overall, it was around 30% for the day.
The Sky Is Pink hasn't been able to live up to the expectation despite got good reviews from the audience. After the first two days (including Saturday), it has earned around 7.70 Cr whereas, its first-weekend collection maybe around 15 Cr.
