War Is Rock Solid On Second Sunday
War is in no mood to holding back any time soon. It is trending way better than the just recently released The Sky Is Pink. On its second Sunday (Day 12), War earned roughly 14 Cr India net for all languages. After the first 11 days, War has performed exceptionally well to earn 257.75 Cr India net including 246.85 Cr from Hindi only.
War, on its second Sunday, jumped nearly 20% from Saturday. The occupancy on Sunday increased because of the holiday and it was around 35% for the day. The evening occupancy was the highest with nearly 45% while it dropped to 27% in the night.
Hyderabad still remained one of the top contributors in the occupancy with nearly 70%. Chennai has had the highest occupancy with 85% but it also has the lowest number of shows with 19 among the main regions.
Delhi and Mumbai, however, remained the top contributor in the collection as these two cities currently running in 1350 shows which are nearly 35% of all shows in India. Chandigarh which is currently having 80 shows, has the lowest occupancy with around 13% for the day.
Morning Shows: 25%-30%
Afternoon Shows: 37%-42%
Evening Shows: 43%-48%
Night Shows: 26%-31%
While the rest of the other films are struggling to get decent numbers, War is marching alone with ease. It is quickly heading towards 300 Cr mark which will make this film first in 2019 for the Hindi language.
It is clearly looking that The Sky Is Pink has been able to make an impact at the box office due to War which should continue to perform well until October 25. So, according to the current trend, The Sky Is Pink's first-week collection maybe around 18 Cr net.
