Box Office: 'Housefull 5' 4th Weekend Collection; Nears 300 Crore Worldwide

Mumbai, June 30 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's comedy-thriller Housefull 5 is losing momentum at the domestic box office amid growing competition, as the film collected approximately 1.50 crore net collection in its fourth weekend.## Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the fifth instalment in the popular franchise has amassed around 182 crore net (217 crore gross) in India over 24 days. Despite the slowdown, the film remains the second-highest-grossing Bollywood release of 2025, trailing only Vicky Kaushal's "Chhaava". ## Globally, Housefull 5 has earned an estimated 287 crore gross, including about ₹70 crore from overseas markets. With this, it is on course to finish just below "Sooryavanshi" (₹293 crore gross) as Akshay Kumar's second-biggest worldwide hit post-COVID. ## Within the franchise, Housefull 5 stands as the second-highest grosser, behind Housefull 4 (296 crore worldwide, 2019). In Akshay Kumar's overall filmography, it is projected to be his sixth biggest grosser, following, "2.0" (744 crore), "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" (316.50 crore), "Good Newwz" (316 crore), "Housefull 4" (296 crore), and "Sooryavanshi" (293 crore). ## Despite being mounted on an estimated budget of 250 crore, Housefull 5 has managed to turn in a decent performance, although the expectations were much higher given the massive scale, ensemble cast, and brand value. 'Housefull 5' Eyes Record Opening In The Franchise

Mumbai, June 6 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar-led comedy entertainer Housefull 5 hits the big screen today, June 6, amid huge anticipation. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, it is the costliest film of the franchise, and the expectations are huge from this at the box office. ## Housefull 5 scored one of the biggest advances of the year for a Bollywood title, with approximately 2.50 lakh tickets sold worth approximately 8 crore gross collection (without block seat) for the opening day. The pre-sales, however, are not as big as it was expected given the franchise value and huge star cast. ## Despite pre-sales falling short of expectations, Housefull 5 is eying the record opening in the franchise. The urgency in booking tickets is much higher on the release day than on the previous days, which shows the strong response in spot booking. ## At this point, Housefull 5 is looking to score the biggest opening of the franchise, beating Housefull 4, which scored around 19 crore net.
