Aahana Kumra On Playing A Pilot Stuck In Lockdown In Madhur Bhandarkar's Next Directorial

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently revealed the star cast of his next directorial, India Lockdown, which is based on true events that happened during the lockdown caused by the covid-19 pandemic last year. The cast includes Sai Tamhankar, Prateik Babbar, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Aahana Kumra in prominant roles. ## Actress Aahana Kumra plays a pilot in the film. She said that it is a job profile that demands travel, but her character is forced to stay at home owing to Covid-induced lockdown and face emotional turmoil.## "I'm playing a pilot who's stuck in her house in Mumbai during the lockdown and doesn't get to travel and live her usual life. During this phase, she truly understands the meaning of relationships, through the loneliness that she experiences. Vidyut Jammwal and Kunal Kemmu expressed disappointment after being left out from Disney+Hotstar press conference

Termed as the mother of all the OTT announcements, today, the streaming giant Disney Plus Hotstar announced 7 movies which will be premiered on Disney+Hotstar between July and October. The Disney Plus Hotstar yesterday announced that it will held a virtual press conference on June 29 to make big announcements. ## In today's press conference, the leading stars of the films were in attendance including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Abhishek Bachchan. Aahana Kumra: Consent for me is everything

Mumbai, March 31 (IANS) Actress Aahana Kumra says she didn't grow up understanding the meaning of consent, adding that she feels it is a very important conversation everybody must be having.## "Consent for me is everything. I don't think I grew up with the idea of understanding what consent meant because obviously we are all conditioned to believe that everything that our parents impose on us or the society imposes on us is the end of everything," Aahana said.## "But I have realized over the years that we must have an opinion, we must have a mind of our own. The good thing is that my parents have always explained to me the difference between good touch and bad touch. They have always had these conversations with me even when I was a child," she added.## The actress continued: "So, I was always taught these things, and this is the same conversation I have with the children in my family. Consent for me is everything because it really has opened me up in terms of conversation with the person in front of me and I think only once when you get into a relationship and then you understand what a relationship is going to teach you. Thankfully, I have had great relationships in the past and I have learned so much from them. So, of course, it is a very important conversation everybody must-have."## At the moment, Aahana is seen in the drama thriller web series "Marzi". Rajeev Khandelwal on importance of consent in a relationship

Mumbai, March 26 (IANS) Actor Rajeev Khandelwal feels it's important to understand the value of consent in a relationship, saying one "can't have sex with somebody without that person's consent, it is as good as rape".## "Consent very simply means that you have the permission of the other person to go ahead. Most of the time, we are confused between having a right over somebody just because somebody else suggests that you hold a certain position and we take it as a right over the other person and confuse that with consent," Rajeev said while explaining what consent means to him.## "Understand, that even in the most important cases, we have to sign consent forms, be it at the hospital. Be it other places where it is very critical, where the issue is very critical, we have to sign consent forms. They can't take us for granted," he added.## According to the actor, the same applies to any relationship.## He said: "Similarly, in a relationship between a man and a woman, it is a question of somebody's life, you can't have sex with somebody without that person's consent, it is as good as rape. Especially in a relationship between a man and a woman when they are dating, when they are seeing each other, a lot of times the person or their partner take it for granted that since we are seeing each other I have the right over each other which I guess is wrong."## "Till a certain point where it doesn't harm the other one, harm the sensibility of the other person, it's fine.
