Arbaaz Khan Files Defamation Case After His Name Being Dragged In Sushant's Death Case

Actor-producer, Arbaaz Khan has filed a defamation case against several social media users who alleged his involvement in the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his manager Disha Salian on Tuesday (September 29). ## Arbaaz filed the case in a civil court in the city, and the court has directed defendants Vibhor Anand and Sakshi Bhandari, and unknown defendants - namely John Doe / Ashok Kumar - to withdraw, recall, or takedown defamatory content published directly or indirectly by any of them.## The defamatory posts stated that the Arbaaz was taken into unofficial custody by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as part of the investigation in Sushant's death case, which is not correct. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020, and probe into his death case is still going on. ## Earlier, Arbaaz had filed a case against Dabangg director Abhinav Singh Kashyap who accused the Khan family of sabotaging his career. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been in media headlines for various reasons in the last few days. One of the reasons is his fallout with the Dabangg director Abhinav Singh Kashyap who earlier had made serious accusations on Salman for destroying his career.## Now, in his latest post on Facebook, the director has claimed that Salman Khan's 'Being Human' was only created to clean the actor's public image so that he could get benefitted from the criminal cases against him. ## On Friday (June 19), Abhinav Singh Kashyap wrote on Facebook, "Janaab Salim Khan’s biggest idea is Being Human. The charity done by Being Human is just a show-off. Five cycles used to be distributed in front of my eyes during the shooting of ‘Dabangg’, the next day the newspapers would print that the generous Salman Khan has donated 5000 cycles to the poor. It was all an effort to clean Salman Khan’s image so that the media and the judges were kind to them in his criminal court cases."## "They are making money by fooling the innocent public. They are selling Rs 500 jeans for Rs 5000 and And do not know in what ways money laundering is going on in the name of charity. A day after Dabangg movie director Abhinav Singh Kashyap made serious allegations on Salman Khan and his family for destroying his career, Salman Khan along with family filed a defamation case against the director for defaming them publicly. ## According to a report in news daily, Arbaaz Khan has broken the silence regarding this controversy and said that he had nothing to do with Abhinav Singh Kashyap ever since they started working on Dabangg 2. The had already parted their ways professionally after Dabangg in 2010. Now, the Khan family has hit back to the director and filed a case against for defaming them.## In another report quoted by Filmfare, a source close to Salman Khan said that Abhinav Kashyap has been facing mental issues since the last few years and there is no truth in what he has said on social media. ## The controversy sparked after the 34-year old actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 at his Mumbai apartment. He was battling depression for a long time. Dabangg movie director Abhinav Singh Kashyap recently took to Facebook and revealed that after Dabangg film in 2010, Arbaaz Khan and family sabotaged his career and the sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed his mental health which has not only affect his professional life but the personal life also. ## The director's post came after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14, who said to be in depression for a long time. His death has also revealed the dirty truth of Bollywood that does not care about an outsider and treats such people badly.## Abhinav Singh Kashyap who is the brother of filmmaker Anurag Singh Kashyap wrote in his post that the government must launch a detailed investigation in Sushant's case. He compared the actor's death with the MeToo movement that revealed the dirty image of Bollywood.## In a long Facebook post, Abhinav wrote, "My appeal to the Government to launch a detailed investigation. Rest in peace Sushant Singh Rajput… Om Shanti.. Having suffered personally for a decade, I can confidently say every Talent Manager and all Talent Management Agencies of Bollywood are a potential death Trap for Artists."## "They are all basically white collared Dalaals and everyone is involved. They all have an unspoken code of conduct they adhere to. Their one simple mantra is, “Hamaam me sab nange aur jo nange nahin hain, unko nanga karo kyonki agar ek bhi pakda gaya to sab pakde jayenge”. Following is mostly their modus Operandi," Abhinav Singh Kashyap added.## ## While sharing his own experience, Abhinav revealed how Salman Khan and his family destroyed his career after the Dabangg movie in 2010. He revealed that his several projects sabotaged only because of Arbaaz Khan. ## "The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz Khan in collusion with Sohail Khan and family was trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr. Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me. I had to return the signing money to Shree Ashtavinayak films and moved to Viacom Pictures. They did the same thing."## "Only this time the sabotager was Sohail Khan and he intimidated the then Viacom CEO, Vikram Malhotra. My project was sabotaged and I was made to return my signing fee of Rupees 7 Crores plus interest of Ninety odd lacs. Its only then that Reliance Entertainment came to my rescue and we forged an enduring partnership for my film Besharam."## He further revealed that "Over the next few years, all my projects and creative endeavors have been sabotaged and I have been repeatedly threatened with life and rape threats given to/for the female members of my family. The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family and led to my divorce and breaking up of my family in 2017. They erred and sent some of these threats as texts, sent to me as sms from several numbers."## "Armed with evidence, I went to the police in 2017 to file an FIR which they refused to register but registered a non-cognizable complaint. When the threats continued, I forced the police to trace the numbers but they couldn't be traced back to Sohail Khan(the suspected sender).
