Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati' Postponed

Hyderabad, July 5 - Anushka Shetty's much-awaited action thriller film Ghaati has been postponed once again due to pending work. The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi under the banner of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment. ## Ghaati, which is Anushka's first film since "Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty" (2023), was supposed to be released on July 11 after earlier getting postponed from April 18 this year. Mumbai, June 2 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's fantasy action comedy Khaleja has exceeded expectations in its opening weekend and has become the highest as well as the first double-digit Telugu re-release grosser at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Khaleja was re-released on May 30 amid the huge hype, and it scored the third biggest opening for a South Indian re-release film with approximately 6.75 crores gross. The movie scored good hold on the second day to earn around 2 crore gross, followed by around 1.50 crore gross on Sunday. ## Khaleja grossed approximately 10.25 crores in its opening weekend worldwide, including around 9 crores gross in India and 1.25 crores overseas. With this, it has become the first double-digit Telugu and third South India re-release grosser. ## The movie was re-released without any special occasion, and yet, it scored an excellent collection worldwide. After scoring one of the biggest advances for an Indian re-release title, the movie exceeded expectations on the first day. ## The fantasy action comedy film clocked over 3 crore pre-sales for the opening day in India, and with a fantastic response on spot booking, the film scored approximately 5.75 crores gross domestically on the first day. Hyderabad, May 30 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's cult classic Khaleja re-release is all set to take an excellent opening at the worldwide box office after scoring one of the best pre-sales for an Indian movie. The movie is set to hit the big screen on May 30. ## Originally released in 2010, the fantasy action comedy has been remastered in 4K for its re-release, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Mumbai, May 2 - Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli is coming up with the animated series Baahubali: Crown of Blood, based on the hugely successful Baahubali film franchise. The series has been set to stream on Disney+Hotstar. ## Created by Rajamouli and Sharad Devarajan, produced by Rajamouli, Devarajan and Shobu Yarlagadda and directed and produced by Jeevan J. Hyderabad, Jan 17 (IANS) Actress Anushka Shetty has recalled working on one of her biggest hits in the Telugu film industry, director Kodi Ramakrishna's 'Arundhati', saying the film will always be close to her heart.## On Sunday, the Telugu film, which went on to emerge a superhit, completed 13 years.## Anushka Shetty, whose star value increased considerably after her brilliant performance in the spine-chilling horror-fantasy flick, took to Instagram to pen her thoughts on the experience of working on the film.## She said, "13 Years for Arundhati! Jejamma - A character once in a lifetime for any actress and I am truly blessed. Thanks to Kodi Rama Krishna Garu, Shyam Prasad Reddy Garu, and the whole team. A very big thank you to all the lovely audience for their support & this movie will be always close to my heart".## The film, which had cinematography by K.K. Senthil Kumar and music by Koti won a whopping 10 Nandi Awards, which are given by the Andhra Pradesh state government.
