Rhea Chakraborty Files A Police Complaint Against Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Priyanka Singh

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty has filed a police complaint against Sushant's sister Priyanka Singh, before the Mumbai police on Monday, September 7. ## Rhea cited that "Sushant passed away five days after he obtained a prescription wherein he was unlawfully prescribed psychotropic substances at the behest of his sister Priyanka", in a six-page long complaint as reported by TOI. ## Apart from Sushant's sister, Priyanka Singh, Rhea urged in her complaint that an FIR should also be registered against Dr. Tarun Kumar, under the provision of the IPC 1860, the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs Act, 1985, and Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. ## "Rhea Chakraborty has filed a Police Complaint before the Mumbai Police against Priyanka Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and Others for offenses of Forgery, NDPS Act, and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020 for having sent a bogus Medical Prescription depicting SSR as an Out-Patient Department person when he was in Mumbai on 8th June 2020 prescribing Schedule Drugs which are listed in Schedule of NDPS Act listed at items 36 and 37 as Psychotropic Substances and Tele Medicines Practice Guidelines 3.7.4 dealing with Prohibited List, which prohibits prescribing of any Narcotic or Psychotropic Substance listed in the NDPS Act. It is misconduct under 3.7.1.4 of the Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines", said Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde in a statement. ## Rhea Chakraborty is currently being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case linked to Sushant's death. NCB has already arrested Rhea's brother, Showik, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant, a member of the actor's personal staff after founding solid proof against them. ## Stay tuned...

The ongoing debate on nepotism and favoritism in the Bollywood industry which sparked after the demise of a 34-year old talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput is gaining momentum. While several actors have already put their views on this burning issue, the latest to join the debate is veteran actor Govinda. ## Speaking to Hindustan Times in his latest interview, Govinda opens up about his struggles in the industry and the movie mafia who dictate their terms about how the industry will function and more.## "Earlier whoever was talented, got work. Every film would get equal opportunities in theatres. But now, there are four or five people who dictate the whole business. They decide if they want to let films of those who aren’t close to them, release properly or not. Some of my good films also didn't get the right kind of release. But, things are changing now", Govinda said.## While nepotism is a well known aspect of the industry, there is another burning question which making noise is if star kids and industry insiders have easy access because of favoritism than people with no filmy connections? Govinda, who is the son of late actress Nirmala Devi and Arun Kumar Ahuja, says that it is not the case entirely in Bollywood.## Despite having the filmy background, Govinda recapitulate that he too had his share of struggle and wait for hours to meet filmmakers as the scenario had changed by the time he became an actor.## "There was a gap of 33 years between them (his parents) leaving the film industry and me becoming an actor at 21. So by the time I entered the industry, many new producers had come who didn't know much about my origination. I had to wait for hours to meet them. Actress Anushka Sharma and the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video got in the fresh trouble after Punjab and Haryana high court issued a notice against them for allegedly defaming Sikh Community in the web series Paatal Lok. The notice of motion was issued to the Union of India and 15 other respondents by the bench of Justice Arun Kumar Tyagi. ## The petitioner has objected the episode number 3 on “A History of Violence” that was set in a village in Punjab. Petitioner-advocate Gurdeepinder Singh Dhillon said, “The respondents have purposely and maliciously within the intent of creating communal disharmony and caste-based clashes have shown two communities in a bad light."## It is not the first time the series got a notice for hurting particular community sentiments, a few days ago, ex MLA of Delhi and Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee president, Manjinder Singh Sirsa also raised questions over Paatal Lok and demand for its ban for presenting Sikh Community as rapists.
