Furthermore, opening day advance sales are reported at $430,000 in the US, while the total advance sales through the first weekend are estimated at $800,000 at the overseas box office. Dhurandhar: The Revenge marks the first collaboration between director Aditya Dhar, known for the National Award-winning Uri: The Surgical Strike, and lead actor Ranveer Singh. The film features a high-profile ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The project is produced by Jio Studios in association with B62 Studios and T-Series.
The March 19 release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge follows a significant shift in the competitive landscape of the 2026 film calendar. Yash's highly anticipated film, Toxic, which was originally scheduled to clash on the same date, has now been officially postponed. According to industry reports, the makers of Toxic have rescheduled the release to June 4, 2026, citing production delays caused by prevailing geopolitical tensions in Gulf countries. This strategic move provides Dhurandhar with a clear theatrical window, allowing the Ranveer Singh-starrer to maximize its box office potential during its opening weekend without major competition from another high-profile project.
