Superhit 'Housefull' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Mumbai, April 30 - Akshay Kumar-fronted Housefull is one of the most successful film franchises in India. It holds the record of being the highest-grossing comedy film franchise in the country with around 790 crores at the worldwide box office from 4 films released so far. Housefull 5 is currently in development for 2025 release. ## The first Housefull film was released in 2010, and today on April 30, it has completed 14 years. The movie grossed over 100 crores at the worldwide box office and was the second highest-grossing Indian comedy film at that time, behind Welcome (2017) which was also headlined by Akshay Kumar. ## Directed by Sajid Khan, Housefull is based on the Tamil romantic comedy Kadhala Kadhala (1988) starring Kamal Haasan. Akshay Kumar-Led 'Welcome 3' Aka 'Welcome To The Jungle' Gets Massive Star Cast On Board

Mumbai, September 9 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has been confirmed to headline the third installment of the comedy franchise, Welcome. The makers of the movie, titled Welcome To The Jungle aka Welcome 3 have got a massive ensemble of at least 24 actors on board.## Directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie will feature Akshay Kumar in the main role, returning to the franchise after missing out on the second installment. Anees Bazmee's 'No Entry' Sequel To Go On Floors In January 2023

Mumbai, July 7 - Director Anees Bazmee, fresh from his blockbuster success "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", has started prepping for the sequel to one of the most loved comic capers "No Entry". The movie will reunite Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan to reprise their roles from the original movie and they will be seen doing double roles. ## According to the latest reports, the movie, tentatively titled "No Entry Mein Entry", will start shooting in January 2023 with an eye on a release later in the same year. It is said that Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan have finalized their shooting timeline. Lara Dutta Confirms Returning In Salman Khan, Anees Bazmee's 'No Entry 2'

Mumbai, June 5 - Bollywood actress Lara Dutta has confirmed that she would be returning to reprise her role in the sequel to Anees Bazmee's superhit No Entry. The movie has been in the news for a long time and it was officially confirmed by Salman Khan himself in December last year. ## Salman Khan, along with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan has already been confirmed to return in the sequel, tentatively titled No Entry Mein Entry. It was reported that the trio will be seen playing a triple role in the movie, however, it was then not confirmed whether the original lead heroines will return or not. ## Putting all the speculations to the rest, Lara Dutta confirmed at International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) that she "can't get back with him (Salman Khan) to work in No Entry 2". With Lara confirmed her return to the movie, it is also confirmed that Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly may also be reprising their roles. However, there is doubt about Bipasha Basu's participation in the movie. ## "No Entry Mein Entry" will be produced by Boney Kapoor who also produced the original movie. Lara Dutta recalls playing Indira Gandhi in 'Bell Bottom'

Mumbai, Dec 25 (IANS) Bollywood actress Lara Dutta, who plays the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Bell Bottom', recalls her experience of working in the movie which has its world TV premiere on December 26. ## She says bringing the character on-screen was challenging and full of responsibility. ## Lara says: "Working on 'Bell Bottom' was a challenging yet fulfilling experience. It was a huge responsibility to do justice to the role of Indira Gandhi ji and make it convincing to the audience. Ranjit Tiwari and I sat for hours and saw Mrs Gandhi's footage to get the nuances right. My father was her pilot so I grew up listening to her stories and how she spoke to everyone so that helped as well. And when I saw myself on screen, and the reactions that followed, it was all worth it." ## Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, the film stars Akshay Kumar playing the role of Anshul Malhotra whose life takes an important turn as he joins RAW and embarks on his very first mission as 'Agent Bell Bottom'. It also features Huma Qureshi as RAW personnel and Vaani Kapoor as Anshul's wife Radhika. ## The actress adds: "When Akshay first called me for the film during the pandemic and spoke about the character of Mrs Gandhi, I almost thought it was a joke because the entire industry was shut down and we didn't know how we would film. Former Miss Universe Winners Hail Newly Crowned Harnaaz Sandhu For Making India Proud

Mumbai, December 14 - India's 21-year old, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has become the new Miss Universe titleholder. The actress-model from Chandigarh, Punjab becomes the 3rd Indian after Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta to win the Miss Universe title. ## The last time India won the Miss Universe crown was in 2000 when Lara Dutt made India proud on the world stage. Interestingly, Harnaaz was born in the year when Lara wore the crown. She is being hailed as destiny's child. 'Bell Bottom' Director Ranjit Tewari Revealed Casting Lara Dutta As Indira Gandhi Was Akshay Kumar's Idea

Mumbai, August 18, 2021: Ever since the trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer "Bell Bottom", has released, the transformation of Lara Dutta as Indira Gandhi has become a talking point among the fans on social media. ## In an interview with IANS, director Ranjit M. Tewari shared why Lara Dutta was selected for the role despite her facial features not being similar to those of the late former prime minister. The director revealed casting Lara as Indira Gandhi was Akshay's idea while her transformation could be possible because of the science of prosthetics. ## "This was one of the important casting decisions for my film. If we look at Lara in real life, she carries herself with a lot of dignity and has a very strong personality. Initially, the idea of casting Lara came from Akshay sir, so the credit goes to him. Then I was wondering how to make her look like Mrs. Gandhi. She does not look like her in any way", Tewari said. ## "I had two options: either we make Lara look exactly like Mrs. Gandhi, or create a similar look, keeping the essence of the 'Mrs. Gandhi look'. Then I sat with (the makeup artist) Vikram Gaikwad and after several discussions and photoshop sessions, finally, we went for prosthetics". ## "For the first time, when she had 70 percent of her prosthetics on, I saw Lara in her Mrs. Gandhi look. I was like, 'That's it! We found the look!' I am very happy that the effort that has gone into her look has been appreciated.
