Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar Tests Covid Positive, Admitted To The ICU
Mumbai, January 11 - As India is witnessing the third wave of the covid-19 pandemic, largely due to the Omicron variant, many people are getting infected with the virus. ## In the last couple of weeks, many celebrities within the Indian film industry have tested positive for covid, and now, the legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar is the latest on the list. ## As per reports, the 92-year old Bharat Ratna, Lata Mangeshkar Didi has been admitted to the ICU of Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after testing positive for covid-19 with mild symptoms. Owing to her age, she has been admitted to the ICU and will be kept under observation.## For the last few days, India is reporting over 1 lakh cases on a daily basis. On Monday, the country reported over 168000 cases, which is the largest count in over 6 months.
