Bheemla Nayak Becomes First Indian Movie Of 2022 To Cross Rs. 100 Crores Net

Hyderabad, March 2 - The Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", also starring Rana Daggubati, is going bonkers at the box office despite the difficult circumstances.## Directed by Saagar K Chandra, "Bheemla Nayak" is all set to enter Rs. 100 crores net club at the Indian box office. After netting Rs. 97 crores in the first five days, the action drama film, on Tuesday, scored an estimated Rs. 5.50 crores, taking total domestic net cume to Rs. 102.50 crores. ## "Bheemla Nayak" took just 6 days to reach the box office milestone. It has already become the biggest Telugu movie released in the month of February of all time. Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" has so far grossed over Rs. 25 crores, pushing worldwide cume to approx. Rs. 145 crores. ## The film has also crossed the lifetime worldwide total of Pawan Kalyan's last movie, "Vakeel Saab", which had grossed Rs. 137.55 crores within the first week. By the end of the 2nd Friday, "Bheemla Nayak" will cross "Vakeel Saab's" India total of Rs. 127.3 crores. ## "Bheemla Nayak" is the remake of the 2020 Malayalam hit, "Ayyappanum Koshiyum". On Tuesday, the action thriller drops 20% for Rs. 3.80 crores net total for all languages. Hyderabad, February 24 - The government of Andhra Pradesh has warned the theater owners regarding the showcasing of superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", which is slated to release on February 25. ## Ahead of the release of "Bheemla Nayak", the Andhra Pradesh government issued a notice, warning the theatre owners to follow the regulations regarding the ticket prices. Interestingly, the state government had recently reportedly promised to revise the ticket prices after the meeting with Tollywood stars. ## However, even after two weeks, the government has failed to issue new government order regarding the ticket prices, which will affect the business of "Bheemla Nayak". The theater owners have been asked to sell the tickets at old prices, which might cause a huge loss to the theatre owners, buyers, and the businessmen involved in the trade.## The state government also has issued strict orders warning the theatre owners to not allow benefit shows or special screenings of the movie in Andhra Pradesh. Bheemla Nayak Advance Booking Put On Hold In Telangana!

Hyderabad, February 19 - The advance booking for Pawan Kalyan-starrer upcoming Telugu movie "Bheemla Nayak", scheduled to release on February 25th, has reportedly been put on hold in Telangana state over service charge by the online ticketing portals. ## According to a report by Great Andhra, the Telugu film industry has taken a strong stand against online ticketing portals for abnormal ticket prices. It is learnt that the film industry is not happy with Book My Show and other platforms for charging high service charges which are resulting in low footfalls in theaters. ## The report has suggested that exhibitors have been asked to sell the cinema tickets only at the booking counters in theatres till the issue is settled. This decision has been taken to avoid the huge burden of higher ticket prices on audiences and encourage them to visit theaters to watch movies. ## Confirming this, Sirish, the distributor for Pawan Kalyan-starrer "Bheemla Nayak" in the Nizam area, said (via Great Andhra) that "For some days, the sale of tickets would be done at the counters in the theatres". ## In the past few years, ticket prices have gone up abnormally due to the higher commission charge by Book My Show. This has resulted in a reduction in theatre footfall. So, the industry has felt it would be better to revert back to the old system of selling tickets at the booking counters in theatres. 'Bheemla Nayak' Producer Says Movie's Release Date Depends On AP CM Jagan Reddy
