Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi To Join Akshay Kumar In 'Welcome 3'?

Mumbai, February 25 - After a lot of rumors and reports, Akshay Kumar reunited with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal for the third installment of the Hera Pheri franchise and shot for a promo recently. This is some news for the fans who have grown up wishing to see the trio coming together again for the most loved comedy franchise. ## Hera Pheri 3 is not the only film that is making noise. Another popular comedy franchise, Welcome is also hitting the headlines regarding its third installment. Welcome, which was released in 2007, starring Akshay Kumar in the leading role and is considered one of the finest comic capers in Bollywood history. ## Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is gearing up to start Welcome 3 which is reportedly titled Welcome To The Jungle. According to ETimes, Welcome 3 will see Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi joining Akshay in the lead role. ## The report further added that Welcome 3 is expected to start rolling either during the last leg of Hera Pheri 3 or as soon as it hits the theatres next year. Akshay Kumar Says No To The Sequels To Blockbuster Film Franchises

Mumbai, November 11 - A few days ago, it was reported that Akshay Kumar would be reviving the sequels to the blockbuster film franchises, such as Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Pagal Deewana, which has been in demand for a long time now. ## Things had started falling in place with multiple meetings between Akshay and producer Firoz Nadiadwala, however, it seems all goes in vain. According to the latest reports, Akshay has pulled out from doing "Hera Pheri 3", "Welcome 3", and "Awara Pagal Deewana 2". ## It is said that despite continued efforts to bring the aforementioned films to life, Akshay Kumar didn't convince by the idea of Firoz Nadiadwala to take these franchises forward. The actor reportedly believes these are iconic films and compromising with the quality will not do justice to these films. ## Akshay Kumar is looking to do a fresh comedy film, instead of riding on the popularity of past franchises with half-baked scripts. The actor already has a busy calendar with a variety of films and a new comedy film will make his line-up look even better.## On the other hand, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is now looking to approach other actors to take these franchises forward. It is said that the superstar has been meeting with producer Firoz Nadiadwala and they already have had multiple meetings over the last few months. ## The news about "Hera Pheri 3" has already been making noise for the last couple of years as Nadiadwala confirmed in multiple interviews that he has a script ready for this blockbuster franchise to take this forward. ## "The idea is to revive the three franchises and bring back the Hindi cinema audience in a big way. The three films fit the bill of post covid content, to create genuine excitement in the audience. 'Akshay Kumar Can't Be Replaced': Anees Bazmee

Mumbai, May 21 - The sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan's 2007's horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" has been released in theaters on May 20th. This time, for a change, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have stepped in to play the leads with Tabu stepping into the shoes of Vidya Balan as Anjulika & Manjulika. ## While the star cast and the story are completely different, the Anees Bazmee-directed film has managed to entertain the audiences just like its preceder. There were always doubts whether this movie could justify the original movie, but post the release most fans can agree that the sequel is a package that turned out to be even better than expected.## Meanwhile, the fans of this classical horror-comedy were surprised when the movie was announced with Kartik Aaryan in the lead but not Akshay.
