Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' Scripts Historic Opening Day

Mumbai, January 26 - King Khan returns with Bang!## Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller Pathaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan has shattered all the box office records for a Bollywood film and created history. Siddharth Anand's directorial scored a mammoth 57 crores net, including 55 crores in Hindi alone on the first day. ## Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" scored the biggest-ever opening day not for just the Bollywood but also for a Hindi language film. Mumbai, January 26 - Superstar Salman Khan returns to the big screen in the full-fledged role after more than three years with the upcoming family action entertainer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.## The teaser of this Farhad Samji's directorial was screened in theaters on January 25 before it was launched online. Mumbai, January 23 - The advance booking of Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham's Pathaan which started with a thunderous response has broken every record of Hindi films in terms of collections. The film has already beaten the weekend advance of War which was the previous record holder of Bollywood.## Pathaan is a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious "Spy Universe" which started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. Mumbai, January 22 - After a dismal show in 2022, the Independence Day 2023 week is gearing up for another mega box office period as multiple Indian titles are aiming to release during this time.## Ranbir Kapoor's action thriller film "Animal" with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was long announced to hit theaters on August 11, 2023. The highly-anticipated film will be released in multiple languages worldwide. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in prominent roles.## While "Animal" is easily one of the most-awaited Bollywood flicks, it may not get the advantage of the solo release as another biggie, "Gadar 2" is eyeing the same slot. The sequel to all-time blockbuster "Gadar" stars Sunny Deol will reportedly be hitting theaters on the same day as "Animal" on August 11. ## Mahesh Babu's blockbuster "SSMB 28" with director Trivikram Srinivas will be the major Telugu biggie to release during Independence Day week this year. The movie was supposed to release on April 28 but due to the delay in shooting, the makers have postponed the release to August 11, 2023. ## As per the latest reports, superstar Rajinikanth's most-waited action comedy film "Jailer" has been shifted to an Independence Day week release. Though the makers didn't announce the release date officially it was supposed to release in April this year. It will now hit screens on August 11. ## There might be a couple of small-budget films during the same slot. However, in August month, there will be multiple films hitting theaters. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Assures Full Support To Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'

Guwahati, January 22 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's spy action thriller Pathaan is set to big screens on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The movie, however, has been at the center of controversy, and recently, a group of people allegedly stormed into a cinema hall in Assam's Narengi on Friday, vandalizing property and burning down posters of the movie. ## Shah Rukh Khan has expressed concerns over such incidents and dialed Assam CM to look into this matter.
