Hyderabad, July 8 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda's much-awaited action thriller Kingdom, directed by "Jersey" fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, has been confirmed to hit the big screens on July 31st, after getting postponed on multiple occasions. ## The release date announcement of "Kingdom" has ended the wait for the fans, but the announcement comes with a twist. The movie was originally announced to be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi (as "Saamraajya"), but in the latest release date announcement, there is no mention of the Hindi version. ## While the clear reason for not releasing the movie in Hindi is not known yet, the reports say that it will be released directly on a streaming platform. Netflix is the streaming partner of the movie, and there was a different deal in place originally. ## However, the multiple delays led to a situation where Netflix asked the makers to release the movie in theatres as soon as possible. Box Office: 'Kuberaa' Scored Record Opening Weekend For Dhanush And Nagarjuna

Hyderabad, June 23 - Director Sekhar Kammula's Telugu-Tamil drama thriller Kuberaa starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna scored an excellent opening weekend, exceeding expectations at the domestic and worldwide box office. ## Kuberaa recorded strong occupancies throughout the weekend, especially for the Telugu version. The movie opened to an excellent collection on Friday, grossing over 17 crores domestically. Of which, the Telugu version generated over 11.50 crores gross, which is around 65% of the total business. ## The opening day biz was driven by strong word of mouth, which translated into bigger numbers on Saturday and Sunday. Hyderabad, June 21 - Tamil star Dhanush returns to Telugu cinema with director Sekhar Kammula's action thriller Kuberaa, after scoring a blockbuster with his debut Telugu film in the form of Vaathi/SIR (2023).
