Rumour: Hindi Remake Of NBK's 'Akhanda' To Be Led By Either Akshay Kumar Or Ajay Devgn!
Mumbai, December 11 - Bollywood has always been quick to grab remake rights of the audience-appealing, South Indian films, and it seems that Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest box office blockbuster, "Akhanda" is the latest in the list that has caught the attention of Bollywood filmmakers.## The third collaboration of NBK and director Boyapti Srinu opened a roaring response at the box office, receiving positive reviews from critics. The movie got NBk's career back on track as the actioner is heading towards Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross. ## Since "Akhanda" caught the attention of every type of audience, several Bollywood producers are reportedly showing interest in grabbing the Hindi remake rights. The rumours are rife that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is looking to remake the film in Hindi and he has reportedly considered either Akshay Kumar or Ajay Devgn to replace NBK.## Though the conversation about the Hindi remake with Akshay and Ajay is still in its initial stage, and one is likely to receive clarity on the same in the coming days. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar recently completed the shoot of "Mission Cinderella", which is the remake of the Tamil movie "Ratsasan". Ajay Devgn also has a "Kaithi" remake in the pipeline. So it will be interesting to see if they are ready to do back-to-back remakes. ## "Akhanda", meanwhile, is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. It features Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead alongside Srikanth is playing the role of an antagonist, Poorna, Avinash, Jagapathi Babu, Subbaraju, Sravan, Prabhakar, and Viji Chandrasekhar in key roles.
