Peddi has completed its second weekend at the box office, and the numbers bring a mix of milestones and reality checks. While the film has officially crossed the 200 crore net mark in India, the overall trajectory suggests it is underperforming relative to its massive scale and high expectations. As of the end of Day 11, the film stands at a total India net collection of 216.00 crore.
Peddi wrapped up its second weekend by bringing in a gross of 10.70 crore on Day 11. This marks a 12 percent increase over Saturday gross of 9.55 crore, confirming a steady interest from the weekend crowds. When looking at the net figures, the movie earned 9.20 crore across 4,133 shows. Occupancy also saw a visible bump, rising to 35.5 percent from Saturday 28.8 percent. While these are decent gains, for a project of this scale, the performance feels like a gradual grind rather than the explosive surge many expected.

The national chains, including PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, contributed a total gross of 0.59 crore on Sunday from approximately 22,200 tickets sold. Specifically, PVR and INOX saw the highest activity with occupancy rates of 13.3 percent and 15.0 percent respectively, while Cinepolis stayed lower at 8.8 percent. Across the entire second weekend, over 42,300 tickets were sold through these major national chains. This cumulative effort across 800+ shows on Sunday shows that while there is an audience in the metros, the film is not quite hitting the peak numbers expected of a top-tier release.
Language-wise, the Telugu version remains the primary driver, accounting for 7.80 crore of the Day 11 net total. The occupancy in the Telugu market was quite healthy at 44 percent. In contrast, the Hindi version contributed 1.20 crore with 23 percent occupancy, followed by smaller contributions from the Kannada and Tamil versions. This highlights the film's heavy reliance on its home territory for survival.
In terms of regional occupancy for the Telugu version, Vizag was the standout performer on Sunday with a massive 74.3 percent occupancy across 132 shows. Vijayawada followed with 57.0 percent, while the capital city Hyderabad maintained a solid 48.5 percent. However, the performance in Bengaluru was notably lower at 24.0 percent, suggesting that the film's appeal is currently concentrated in specific pockets rather than being a pan-South success.

Earlier in the weekend, Day 10 had shown a strong recovery with a 57.3 percent growth over Friday's dip. Friday, Day 9, had seen a net collection of 5.15 crore, which was an 18.3 percent drop from the previous day. While the weekend recovery was necessary, the lack of a massive breakout on Sunday indicates that the film is settling into a steady but not record-breaking pace. Peddi has reached a total India gross of 256.23 crore. On the international front, the film added 0.75 crore on Day 11, bringing its total overseas gross to 51.75 crore. When we combine these figures, the worldwide gross collection now stands at 307.98 crore.

This worldwide total of 307.98 crore means Peddi has officially become the highest-grossing Tollywood movie of 2026. It achieved this by surpassing the previous record held by the Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu film, which had earned 301.49 crore globally and 218.47 crore net in India. While this is a significant achievement for the year, the film still has a long road ahead to climb the all-time charts.
Currently, Peddi is the 11th highest-grossing Telugu film of all time on a global scale. To break into the top 10, it needs to overtake the records set by Pushpa: The Rise, which finished its run with a worldwide gross of 350.10 crore. This means Peddi requires approximately 43 crore more in gross collections to secure that 10th spot. Given the current daily trends, reaching this milestone will depend heavily on its performance during the upcoming weekdays.
On the ticketing front, BookMyShow data shows that 157,040 tickets were booked on Sunday, which was a slight increase from Saturday's 155,600 and a significant jump from Friday's 92,090. The total tickets sold on the platform for the entire run now stand at 3.59 million. This places Peddi at the 5th spot for ticket sales at the end of the second weekend among recent blockbusters, trailing behind films like Devara, which had 4.14 million, and Salaar with 6.32 million. With a total of 83,776 shows played so far, the film's journey into the third week will be the ultimate test of its legs at the box office.
