Los Angeles, December 1 - Marvel Studios has entered its phase 4 with movies like "Black Widow" streaming shows like "Loki", and has a lot to offer to the fans going forward. Marvel is offering a number of titles regularly, and the latest on the list is the Disney+ series "Hawkeye", which premiered on November 24. ## With an overdose of new content, the streaming industry is getting hit really badly with blatant piracy. According to the reports, the "Hawkeye" series and Sony/Marvel's feature film "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" are the most pirated Hollywood titles of the week. This resulted in, the "Hawkeye" series has become the least-watched Disney+ series in MCU. ## According to Samba TV, only 1.5 million US households watched the "Hawkeye" premiere during the first 5 days, which is the lowest yet for a live-action MCU show. 1.3 million households watched the second episode during the same period. The series is consists of 6 episodes, concluding on December 22. ## Tom Hiddleston-fronted "Loki" remains the most-watched series in the first 5 days with a viewership of 2.5 million. "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" is at number 2 with 1.8 million, followed by "WandaVision" at number 3 with 1.6 million views. "Hawkeye" is last at number 4. ## Created by Jonathan Igla with Rhys Thomas leading the directing team, the show is based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Clint Barton / Hawkeye and Kate Bishop / Hawkeye. Mumbai, November 28 - South Korean web shows are making a huge roar on Netflix's viewership charts at the global level. After "Squid Game" became Netflix's biggest blockbuster show ever, the latest on the list is the supernatural horror series "Hellbound". ## The show, which is directed by Yeon Sang-Ho ("Train To Busan"), has taken Netflix's number 1 spot in the list of most-watched tv shows globally within a few days of release. Just like the viewers, the show has also taken the director Yeon by surprise as he is stunned by the response it is getting. ## The show also topped Netflix's official weekly chart for non-English TV programs with 43.5 million hours of viewing for the week from November 15-21, despite having only three days to count views. Speaking to media, Yeon said, "I was stunned after hearing the news that 'Hellbound' placed No. 1 on the global rankings table when I woke up the next morning. When I had discussed this project with Netflix, I thought I would be satisfied with a second-place finish on Korea's daily chart".## Based on the webtoon titled 'Hell', 'Hellbound', co-written and drawn by Yeon and Choi Kyu-sok, depicts social turmoil and unrest after a series of inexplicable supernatural phenomena. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds in leading roles, "Red Notice" is on track to become the most-watched film on the streamer in its first 28 days of release. ## Released on November 12 (Netflix), "Red Notice" broke into streamer's Top 10 Most Popular English Films of all time this past week, registering 277.9 million hours viewed. In just 11 days of release, it hit the 2nd spot on the Netflix chart and is about to surpass the current No. 1 holder, "Bird Box", which raked in 282 million hours viewed in its first 28 days. ## Netflix released the new data, which ranks its most popular titles based on viewing hours, as part of its revamped and expanded Top 10 lists. Netflix says the metrics will be audited by EY, with results to be released in 2022.## In the first 3 days of release (12-14 Nov.), "Red Notice" raked in 148.7 million hours viewed and was the number 1 movie in the first three days. Over the first weekend, it grossed Rs. 17 crores worldwide. ## Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, "Honsla Rakh" remained solid throughout, and currently, it is the second highest-grossing Punjabi film of the covid-19 pandemic with Rs. 53.35 crores worldwide over 38 days. It is now gearing up to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 24. Mumbai, November 23 - The musical romantic drama film "Atrangi Re" starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush will be premiered directly on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 24. The movie was supposed to release in theaters but to the second covid-19 wave and a crowded release schedule ahead, the makers have decided to opt for digital release for the film. ## On Tuesday (November 23), the first look motion posters of the primary cast were unveiled. Mumbai, November 11 - Netflix's recently released South Korean show, "Squid Game" has taken the worldwide digital audiences by storm. The show has not only become the most viewed show on Netflix but also has been a monster hit on Youtube. ## According to the content analytics firm Vobile, "Squid Game" has dethroned HBO Max's "Game of Thrones" on Youtube, attracting a staggering 17 billion views across a spectrum of long- and short-form videos. "Game of Thrones", which had a decade to amass its fan army, has attracted 16.9 billion from 420,000 uploaded videos on Youtube. ## The viewership comes from numerous types of video content, including official trailers and clips from the series, fan recreations of iconic moments, real-world challenges inspired by the plot, and even narration of user-generated video games based on the property (found on services like Roblox). ## Vobile estimates that the 17 billion views for "Squid Game" have come from 129,000 uploaded videos, including traditional long-form YouTube clips and their recently-launched TikTok competitor YouTube Shorts. Those videos also count for 533 million engagements (likes, dislikes, and comments).## Earlier, Netflix had announced that the Dystopian South Korean drama series became the streamer's biggest series launch ever with attracting 111 million views worldwide and had topped Netflix charts in more than 80 countries in less than four weeks of its debut.## Stay tuned...

The Sacred Games actor feels that OTTs have become a "dumping ground for redundant shows" which is killing talent. ## "We either have shows that don’t deserve to be seen in the first place. Or sequels to shows that have nothing more to say", Nawazuddin said.## "When I did Sacred Games for Netflix, there was an excitement and challenge around the digital medium. New talent was being given a chance Now that freshness is gone. It's become Dhanda (racket) for big production houses and actors who are now so-called stars on the OTT platform".## "Major film producers in Bollywood have cut lucrative deals with all the big players in the OTT field. Producers get whopping amounts to create unlimited content. The quantity has killed quality", the actor added. He finds OTT shows unbearable now. "When I can't bear to watch them how can I bear to be in them?".## Nawazuddin Siddiqui, meanwhile, has plenty of projects in the pipeline. He is currently filming for Heropanti 2, Adbhut while Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Sangeen, and No Land's Man are in the post-production stage. Mumbai, October 28 - Amazon Prime Video is going to be the home of the upcoming films of Yash Raj Films production. Prime Video has exclusively signed a deal with YRF for 4 most anticipated upcoming films that include Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Shamshera for their streaming after 4 weeks of theatrical release. ## While the aforementioned films have been made official, Amazon has reportedly grabbed two more YRF films. According to reports, YRF's in-production big-budget films - Salman Khan starrer "Tiger 3" and Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film "Pathan" will be available to stream on Prime Video after 8-weeks of theatrical release. ## Reports claim that Amazon has paid a whopping Rs. 200 crores to beg the streaming rights of Tiger 3 and Pathan, which are one of the most-awaited Indian films. Both the films are currently on floors and in their final legs of shooting schedules. ## The third installment of the Tiger film franchise, Tiger 3, will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as RAW and ISI agents respectively. The spy actioner will also feature Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, however, the official announcement regarding his inclusion is yet to be made. The movie is being directed by Maneesh Sharma. ## Pathan, on the other hand, marks Shah Rukh Khan's return on the big screen after almost three years. SRK has been shooting since the last year on this action thriller which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles. Salman reportedly plays a cameo in this Siddharth Anand's directorial. ## Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films hasn't set release dates for these two films. Los Angeles, October 22 - Warner Bros. Pictures' strategy of releasing its 2021 films day-and-date on HBO Max and in theaters is coming to haunt them big time. The Studio made it's one of the most ambitious films of 2021 "Dune" available on its streaming platform HBO Max a day before theatrical release.## However, Denis Villeneuve-directed couldn't prevent itself from hitting piracy as this epic sci-fi film leaked online in full HD quality a day before its American release. According to Variety, at least three major illegal streaming sites are hosting HD quality streaming copies of "Dune" in English, Danish, Spanish and Arabic subtitles.## Apart from leaking online, thousands of users are also hosting and sharing copies of the film on torrent sites, making it available easily to the users without getting paid. "Dune" isn't the only Hollywood blockbuster leaked online. The recently released "Black Widow" and Venom: Let There Be Carnage" had also succumbed to piracy. However, both "Black Widow" and "Venom 2" rarely leaked in high resolution unlike "Dune". ## "Black Widow" is said to be the most pirated Hollywood film ever. Just like "Dune", "Black Widow" had also been released on Disney+ and in theaters simultaneousouly. It grossed approx $380M worldwide and was also a big hit on Disney+. ## "Dune", however, despite leaking online in full HD prints, is not bothering Warner Bros. Pictures as reports say that the piracy is within normal studio expectations and it is also tracking to be half as much as other blockbusters in 2021. Meanwhile, according to a report from the Global Innovation Policy Center (via CNBC), the U.S. economy loses between $29.9 billion and $71 billion in revenue each year due to piracy.## Meanwhile, "Dune", which stars an ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem, has already been released in the international market and earned approx $130 million so far. At domestic market, where it was released on October 22, is projected to earn between $30 million and 40 million in the 3-day opening weekend.
