Recently in an interview, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed that he is planning to make a superhero film series that will begin with Katrina Kaif's film. Now, the movie with Katrina Kaif said to be a two-part film that will directly premiere on Netflix as a Netflix Original Film to which the streaming platform has sanctioned Rs 80 to 85 crore to the director for the first part of the movie. ## A leading portal revealed that Ali Abbas Zafar was keen to make the film for the big screen but lack of funds forced him to go for the OTT platform.## "It's a massive film mounted on a never seen before scale for a female protagonist. Ali was very keen on making it as a feature film for the big screen, but he wasn’t able to raise the funds that were needed, following which he decided to go the OTT way. The filmmaker is of the belief that his next will be a game-changer of sorts for the genre and will pave way for many more women-centric action films in Bollywood".## The portal further revealed that "This would be the biggest budgeted film in the history of Bollywood led by women".## Adding further that there will be never seen before action in the movie and Katrina Kaif is also training at home and living no stone unturned to pull off stunts.## "It's solely Ali's vision and passion for the film that has got him a mega-deal with Netflix. Any other director would have shelved the film, but he is keen on making Katrina the first female superhero of India. The Urvashi Rautela starrer Virgin Bhanupriya which is all set to premiere on the OTT platform ZEE5 on July 16, is inspired by the director of the film Ajay Lohan's real-life experience, claimed Gautam Gulati who plays the male lead in the comedy-drama. ## "Virgin Bhanupriya is a story inspired by personal experience and friends of our director Ajay. During the shoot, he used to sit with me and help me with the accent of ‘Shartiye’, which is why I didn’t have to learn any language", Gautam told IANS.## "As this film is based on Ajay's real-life experiences, he has included different characters from among his real-life friends. Nawazuddin Siddiqui who was hailed for his role in the series and acquired a new level of fame says that there is nothing left in Vikram Chandra's novel that can be put in Season 3.## Speaking to a leading portal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, "Sacred Games got the kind of worldwide acclaim that none of us associated with the series had seen before. I remember shooting in Rome for Tannishta Chatterjee’s film and over there too there were so many people talking to me about Sacred Games. So we all felt it was right to do it again, and we did a second season".## Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, Nawazuddin Siddiqui admits that the second season was a disappointment as the intentions behind it were not sincere. "Perhaps, somewhere the intention behind Season 2 was not as sincere as the first time. I admit Sacred Games 2 was a disappointment", he said. ## As for season 3, the actor said, "Whatever had to be said from the original novel has already been said. There is nothing left in Vikram Chandra’s novel to be put in Season 3".## When asked about his character in Sacred Games and the dialogues were very popular, the actor politely said the credit must go to writers who wrote the dialogues that became famous.## "I can't take credit for the popularity of the lines that I spoke. I didn't write them. In India, we often give credit to the actor for a popular line. In Yash Chopra Saab's Deewaar, Shashi Kapoor Saab spoke the line, 'Mere Paas Maa Hai'. But, it was Salim-Javed who wrote that line. She further added that the small girl is dancing on her own wish and seeing her daughter dancing her father is embarrassed. The dance is not shameful. The girl is just dancing, she doesn’t know that society will sexualize her. Filmmaker Siddharth Roy Kapur's production house Roy Kapur Films has acquired the rights of the Scottish historian and writer, William Dalrymple's bestseller book 'The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of The East India Company' that will be adapted it into a tv series. ## The book 'The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of the East India Company' by William Dalrymple was originally published on 10 September 2019 and it recounts the unprecedented rise of the East India Company and how Britain's ruthless looted India in the 18th century when India used to be an industrial powerhouse. ## Talking about the book, Siddharth Roy Kapur said in a statement, "I believe that stories that are compelling, relevant, and authentic have the potential to resonate with audiences across all nationalities and cultures.
