Box Office: 'Leo' Becomes Thalapathy Vijay's Highest-Grosser Worldwide

Chennai, October 23 - Tamil blockbuster Leo has crossed the 300 crores gross mark in just 4 days and is now Thalapathy Vijay's highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office. It surpassed the lifetime collection of "Varisy", which grossed approximately 298 crores earlier this year. ## Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Leo" grossed an estimated 68 crores worldwide on Sunday, pushing the total collection to 360+ crores during the extended opening weekend. In India, the movie was easily the number 1 with approximately 213 crores while overseas, it scored an estimated $18 million (149 crores) through Sunday. ## "Leo" was also one of the highest-grossing films worldwide during the weekend of October 20 - October 22, 2023. After superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbusters, "Pathaan", and "Jawan", which were the highest-grossing films worldwide during their opening weekends, "Leo" is the third Indian movie of the year to be able to find a spot among the biggest weekend grossers in the world. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Leo" is part of director Lokesh's cinematic universe (LCU), and by tomorrow, it will become the highest-grossing film in the LCU by beating Kamal Haasan's "Vikram" which grossed approximately 415 crores worldwide last year.
