Ravi Teja's Much Anticipated 'Khiladi' To Also Release In Hindi!

Mumbai, January 24 - Telugu star Ravi Teja delivered the first Indian blockbuster of 2021 in the form of the action-drama film "Krack". Released in January 9, "Krack" went on gross over Rs. 60 crores worldwide, and played a big role in bringing people back to theaters. ## The actor is now gearing up for the release of his next, titled "Khiladi". Directed by Ramesh Varma, the action-packed thriller is scheduled to release on February 11 worldwide. Meanwhile, according to Pinkvilla, this keenly-awaited film will also be released in the dubbed Hindi version, making the Hindi debut for Teja. ## The recently released Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" became a massive hit in Hindi, so the makers of "Khiladi" are keeping their hopes high with this film as well. The report suggests that Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film across India in Hindi. ## "There aren't enough Bollywood films releasing at present and hence, the makers are on the verge of locking the idea of bringing Khiladi in Hindi. It would be the first Ravi Teja film to be released in Hindi. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the content across India in Hindi and their strategy will be concentrated towards fetching good showcasing on single screens", reports Pinkvilla. ## "Khiladi" is produced by Satyanarayana Koneru under A Studios and Ramesh Varma. Chennai, Jan 20 (IANS) The trailer of director Thu Pa Saravanan's action entertainer 'Veerame Vaagai Soodum', featuring Vishal and Dimple Hayathi in the lead, has garnered an impressive one million views in a matter of just six hours of being released on YouTube.## The trailer, which was released on Wednesday evening, shows Vishal as a cop who thinks out of the box. The dialogues showcased in the trailer seem to be deep. A case in point would be a dialogue that goes, "There's a lot of difference between one who kills to save oneself and another who kills others and makes a living out of it".## The trailer gives the impression that the film will provide a feast to action lovers.## Several celebrities also complimented Vishal for the trailer. IANS Review: 'Atrangi Re': Intriguing narrative keeps you hooked (IANS Rating: ***)

Film: 'Atrangi Re' (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar); Duration: 138 minutes. ## Director: Aanand L. Rai. Cast: Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, Seema Biswas, Ashish Verma and Dimple Hayathi. ## Rating: *** ## Treated like a light-hearted romance-comedy, 'Atrangi Re' promises a love story with a difference, and it is a familiar but not a different tale to an extent. ## To enjoy the film, you need to empathise with Rinku (Sara Ali Khan), an orphan from Bihar who is forced to marry the kidnapped Dr. S. Vishwanath Iyer (Dhanush), a Tamilian from Chennai visiting her hometown. ## Competing in this love story is Vishu's girlfriend Mandakini, aka Mandy (Dimple Hayathi), who is the daughter of his dean, who is supposed to get engaged to Vishu in the next few days. And the other member in this love-quadrangle is the magician Sajjad Ali Khan (Akshay Kumar), with whom Rinku is head-over-heels. ## The narrative leads you through an intriguing path. It allows you to fantasize about myriad possibilities ahead. That is what keeps you hooked. But by the end, you realise that while the concept is interesting, the narrative is frothily shallow and a bit disappointing. ## The film begins on a dramatic note with Rinku frenetically running away from home, and ever thence you notice especially during the first half, every frame seems to be designed in a frenzy. Someone or the other is running across the screen. These long continuous shots are skilfully captured, and they only add drama to the scenes. ## Sara Ali Khan, as the rustic and boisterous Rinku, delivers a relatable performance, but when, in a scene with Sajjad, she breaks into English, you apprehend that her character has not been chiselled, to perfection. ## Similarly, Dhanush is charming all the way, there are times where your heart goes out for him, but once again, his character seems to be short-changed by the script, for there are moments when his emotional arch is cut short. ## Dimple Hayathi is a competent actress but with limited screen time, her histrionics is not brought to the fore. ## After a long time, Akshay Kumar looks fresh and young on-screen, and he delivers a fairly buoyant performance not overshadowing either Sara or Dhanush. ## Seema Biswas as Rinku's feisty and autocratic grandmother Dhulhayen, Ashish Verma as Vishu's friend and colleague Madhu, and the rest of the supporting cast leave their mark on the screen. ## Technically the film is astutely mounted with great production qualities. Also, the songs and the background score are loud and upbeat, and they mesh with the narrative seamlessly. ## Overall, Atrangi Re speaks about the language of the heart, but with no Hindi or English subtitles to the Tamil dialogues spoken by Vishu and his ilk, the finer nuances of the words spoken are lost in guesstimation. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Such Updates.

Salman Khan Acquires Hindi Remake Rights of Ravi Teja Starrer Telugu Movie Khiladi?

Mumbai, June 11, 2021: Telugu star Ravi Teja's action thriller movie, Khiladi is yet to hit the theater screens, but it seems the movie has already caught the attention of Bollywood. According to the latest development in Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan has reportadly bought the Hindi remake rights of Khiladi. ## It is reported that Salman enjoyed that the recently released trailer of Khiladi, and he looked interested to make its Hindi version. He has reportadly approached director Ramesh Varma, who has helmed the Telugu version, to direct the film's Hindi version as well. However, there's no official word either from Salman Khan or the makers of Khiladi yet on the Hindi remake. ## Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru, Khiladi stars Ravi Teja in a dual role along with Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Dimple Hayathi in prominant roles. Sujit Vaasudev and GK Vishnu are the cinematographers of Khiladi. The Telugu movie was supposed to release on May 28 but the covid-19 pandemic forced the makers to postpone it. Hyderabad, June 8, 2021: Last year, many films across languages went for direct-to-digital release due to the covid-19 pandemic. However, the Telugu film industry did refrain from adopting this medium so early and it got a reward for showing courage by going for theatrical release. ## Ravi Teja starrer Krack, which was released on January 9, was the first Indian blockbuster movie during the covid-19 pandemic era. The movie released amid a lot of uncertainty and grossed over Rs. 60 crore worldwide and paved the way for others to follow. Now, actor Ravi Teja is gearing up for the release of his next, Khiladi. ## Khiladi was supposed to release on May 28, however, the second wave of the covid-19 hit makers' plan out of the park and forced them to postpone the release date. Though there are rumors that Khiladi will skip theatrical release and opt for an OTT release, director Ramesh Verma says that is not going to happen and they will wait for the theaters to open. He even went on to say that, unlike last year, there is no excitement for direct to OTT release this year. ## "Khiladi is a 100 percent theater film. Many films released online last year. There is no such excitement this year. The audience tends to watch films in parts on streaming platforms and the entire family does not get to sit together and watch a film peacefully. But there is no such problem with a theater release.
