Lara Dutta Confirms Returning In Salman Khan, Anees Bazmee's 'No Entry 2'

Mumbai, June 5 - Bollywood actress Lara Dutta has confirmed that she would be returning to reprise her role in the sequel to Anees Bazmee's superhit No Entry. The movie has been in the news for a long time and it was officially confirmed by Salman Khan himself in December last year. ## Salman Khan, along with Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan has already been confirmed to return in the sequel, tentatively titled No Entry Mein Entry. It was reported that the trio will be seen playing a triple role in the movie, however, it was then not confirmed whether the original lead heroines will return or not. ## Putting all the speculations to the rest, Lara Dutta confirmed at International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) that she "can't get back with him (Salman Khan) to work in No Entry 2". With Lara confirmed her return to the movie, it is also confirmed that Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly may also be reprising their roles. However, there is doubt about Bipasha Basu's participation in the movie. ## "No Entry Mein Entry" will be produced by Boney Kapoor who also produced the original movie. Released in 2005, "No Entry" was the highest-grossing film of the year. Anees recently told IndiaToday.in, "The shoot of the film is going to start very soon. I have met Salman Bhai four to five times and told him that we have to start this film soon now".## "I have the script and now it is up to Salman if he wants to do it and when he wants to do it... A Sequel To Salman Khan's 'No Entry' Has Officially Been Confirmed

Mumbai, May 1 - One of the most anticipated Bollywood movie sequels, "No Entry" has been making noise for a long time now. Superstar Salman Khan had himself said in December last year that he would be working on the sequel, however, the shooting and other details were not disclosed by him at that time. ## It was reported that the original lead trio of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan would be reuniting for the movie along with director Anees Bazmee. Now, the director has himself confirmed the movie and said that the shooting for the same will be commenced soon. ## Anees told IndiaToday.in, "The shoot of the film is going to start very soon. I have met Salman Bhai four to five times and told him that we have to start this film soon now. He is very serious and we are going to start very soon. Salman Bhai is there, there's Fardeen [Khan] and Anil Kapoor. These three will be a part of the movie". ## "No Entry", which was released in 2005, was the highest-grossing film of the year. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie holds a special place in the comedy genre in the Hindi film industry. The psychological crime thriller series, which is a remake of the British series "Luther" starring Idris Elba, was released on March 4. ## Upon the release of the show, it received mixed to a positive response from critics and audiences alike. It was, as expected, remained the most-watched Indian show on OTT during its opening weekend. As per Ormax Media, "Rudra: The Edge of Darkness", got 8.6 million views in the first 3 days (March 4-6). Makers claimed it is the highest viewership count on Disney+Hotstar during the opening weekend. ## The 6-episode series also stars Raashi Khanna and Esha Deol in prominent roles. A Sequel To 'No Entry' Is In The Works With Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor & Fardeen Khan Returning In Triple Roles!

Mumbai, November 26 - Director Anees Bazmee's 2005 film "No Entry" holds a special place among the finest comedy films in Bollywood. The movie, which starred Salman Khan, Anil, Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly in leading roles, was loved by the audience for its comic timings, writing, and performances. ## It has been 16 years since the film was released in cinemas. The news regarding its sequel has been making noise for many years now, going by the latest reports, it looks like that the good news about the sequel is around the corner. According to Bollywood Hungama, the sequel is titled "No Entry Mein Entry", and it will feature the original male trio in triple roles.## A source informed the portal that Bazmee is done with the scripting. It will reportedly feature 9 heroines because of the triple roles of the male actors. This is, however, not confirmed yet whether the original heroines [Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly] will be part of the sequel but the makers are already trying to lock as many as 9 heroines for the comedy. ## It is indeed one of its kind ensembles, which, if true, has never happened in Bollywood before. The story will reportedly follow the same catchline - three husbands trying to go astray and the madness that comes along with it. Esha Deol is looking at strength, not length of roles

New Delhi, March 30 (IANS) Admitting that she is part of Bollywood actors who are all for digital, Esha Deol Takhtani, who was last seen in the short film 'Cake Walk', first premiered on a digital platform, which went on to win several awards at different festivals, says, "I also have a couple of other projects lined up for the future on different OTT platforms. I think digital is the future, and not just due to the lockdown owing to the unfortunate COVID-19 situation we are in. In general too, many now want to see films on the move. I'm happy and proud to be part of this medium."## Excited about the short-film format and comparing it to standard length ones, the actor adds that the former is quick and easy, and for people who have less patience, they work excellently well.## "A beautiful message can be told in a short span of time. Also, talented are better able to showcase their skill-set in the short film format."## Daughter of actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha, who made her debut with 'Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche' (2002), and has to her credit around 30 movies, including Mani Ratnam's Tamil film 'Aastha Ezhuthu', says she is now all set to get into production too, considering the experience she has garnered by spending years in the industry.## "Well, I started acting from the age of 18 and being in front of the camera remains my first love. I still look fit and good. But yes, this is a great time to get into production for the digital medium as well and produce some meaningful content -- the kind I believe in."## Talking about the roles she wants to essay, Deol, citing the example of her short-film says she is all for strong characters that 'say' something.## "In 'Cake Walk', I played a divorced chef. My character had a beautiful message to convey to the audience. The same goes for my next film. I'm not looking at the length of the role but the strength of the role."## The actor, who recently wrote the book 'Amma Mia', published by Penguin Random House India says she wanted to share what a new mother goes through.## "There were so many questions, multiple people telling me so many things, loads of emotions and of course confusion. I was able to overcome everything beautifully. I felt like sharing my experiences with new mothers, and what can be better than a book?"## Ask her if there is another book inside and she asserts, "Well, I didn't know in the first place that I would become an author one day. I was someone who was more into watching films, acting in them, dancing, and of course very athletic by nature. Writing a book was something that never came to my mind. The credit must go to my two daughters who have turned me into an author. I'll never say no to writing another one, but need to feel strongly about something."## Even as a number of celebrities including Twinkle Khanna, Soha Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre have churned out books recently, Deol would not like to call it a trend.## "Just that it is talked about on a larger scale if celebrities write a book. Let's not forget, as human beings, we all feel strongly about certain things that we like to share," she says.## Stressing that motherhood has changed her for the better -- a more patient and calmer person, she adds, "Also, a braver person with more confidence.
