A New 'Wonder Woman' Movie Officially In Development

Los Angeles, June 11 - A new feature film about the DC superhero Wonder Woman is officially in development, according to the CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn. The movie would be in addition to an HBO series about Wonder Woman's home of Themyscira. ## During an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), James Gunn said that they are working on Wonder Woman, which is currently being written. According to Variety, the new film would be a fresh start for the superhero character, and it is unlikely to bring Gal Gadot, who has played Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. ## Gadot has played this iconic character in 2017's "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League," 2020's "Wonder Woman 1984," 2021's "Zack Snyder's Justice League," and in a cameo in 2023's "The Flash." ## There are several DC Films that are said to be in development at the studio, and a few of them have already been greenlit. The first, "Superman," opens in July this year, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. The second, "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow," starring Milly Alcock, opens in June 2026. Vin Diesel Confirms 'Fast and Furious' Spinoffs, Including a Female-Led Movie

Los Angeles, May 23 - The "Fast & Furious" movies are not going anywhere anytime soon despite the finale of the main franchise.## The 10th main installment of the franchise "Fast X" is playing in cinemas and the second part of it is scheduled to release in 2025. There might be a 12th film in the franchise but that is not confirmed yet but the Fast family will continue to entertain the audiences. ## Vin Diesel, the lead hero and one of the producers of the "Fast and Furious" franchise has confirmed that he already has plans for spinoffs, including a female-led film. "I started developing the female spinoff... in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs", Diesel told Variety reporter Marc Malkin. ## Vin Diesel earlier this month teased that "Fast X" might be spread out over three films. Henry Cavill And Gal Gadot Cameos Reportedly Scrapped From DC's 'The Flash'

Los Angeles, December 18 - It looks like Warner Bros. is ending its former DC Extended Universe (DCEU) to make way for the new DC Universe being created by DC Studios Co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran. ## The studio under the new CEOs is taking harsh calls to shape up its DC future for at least the next 8-10 years. James Gunn recently confirmed that Henry Cavill wouldn't be returning as Superman while the reports have also claimed that Warner Bros. has scrapped the 3rd installment of Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman 3". ## Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the cameos of Cavill as Superman and Gadot as Wonder Woman have also been scrapped in the upcoming 2023 superhero movie "The Flash" as the studio chose to not go forward with director Patty Jenkins' version of "Wonder Woman 3". ## It is said that Cavill had already shot his cameo but since he is not returning as Superman in the already announced "Man of Steal 2", his cameo no longer makes sense hence it has been cut in Ezra Millar's "The Flash", which is scheduled to release in June next year.## With Jason Momoa potentially leaving Aquaman behind to play Lobo and Patty Jenkins' version of Wonder Woman 3 no longer moving forward, it seems as though the DC Extended Universe that started with 2013's Man of Steel is coming to a close.## Stay tuned...
