Chandigarh, March 14 (IANS) Actor Shahid Kapoor on Saturday announced that the shoot of his upcoming film "Jersey" has been stopped in the light of the coronavirus outbreak. ## "At a time like this, it is our social responsibility to do everything in our capacity to curb the spread of this virus. Team #Jersey is suspending shoot so as to enable all unit members to be with their families and in the safety of their homes. Be responsible. Stay safe," Shahid, who was shooting for the film in Chandigarh, tweeted. ## Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, "Jersey" is a Hindi remake of the Telugu hit of the same name. Los Angeles, March 14 (IANS) Singer Ellie Goulding says she was addicted to exercise, which took over her life. ## In an interview with The Sun, the singer, 33, opened up about how she felt she had to go to the gym every day and how her husband and former Olympic rower Caspar Jopling helped her overcome her addiction, reports dailymail.co.uk. ## "I don't consider myself to have an addictive personality but I felt as though I did at one point have a gym addiction that was just not fun, I felt I had to go to the gym every single day," Goulding said. ## "I don't know whether it was a survival thing, because ­touring was so tiring, so hard, really taxing on your body and your mental health. Gold Coast, March 14 (IANS) Hollywood actor Tom Hanks has shared his first coronavirus update along with a photograph that features him in quarantine with his wife, Rita Wilson. ## With the photograph, which Hanks posted on Twitter as well as Instagram, he also wrote a long caption note thanking everyone Down Under who were taking care of the Hollywood couple in COVID 19 isolation. ## "Hello folks. @ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. Hanks and Wilson, both 63, sought medical advice after experiencing symptoms of a cold in Queensland, according to the actor's Instagram post. ## Hanks had broken the news on Instagram saying: "We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that come and went. Slight fevers too. New Delhi, March 13 (IANS) Full-service carrier Vistara has banned stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra from availing its services till April 27 for 'unacceptable behaviour' onboard an IndiGo's flight in January this year. ## "Based on the 'Order' passed by an internal committee constituted by InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. in compliance with the respective CAR and following due process, we have placed the passenger on our no-fly list until 27 April 2020," a Vistara spokesperson said. ## Last month, IndiGo had halved the six-month flying ban on Kamra. An 'Internal Committee' had heard both parties in February and passed an order pursuant to which Kamra has been suspended from flying IndiGo for a period of three months. ## IndiGo said that it will comply with the order of the Internal Committee. ## Lately, Kamra had challenged the airline's decision to bar him from its flights in the Delhi High Court. ## In January, IndiGo had barred the stand-up comedian for six months for "unacceptable behaviour" onboard one of its flights. ## It was alleged that Kamra, while travelling on a Mumbai-Lucknow IndiGo flight, provoked a TV news anchor by asking questions over his news presentation style. ## Following IndiGo's announcement, some other airlines also barred Kamra from flying on any of their flights. ## For more and the latest news about Bollywood, stay tuned to us.

Mumbai, March 13 (IANS) Zee Cine Awards 2020 will now only be shot as a televised show and it has been cancelled for the general public to avoid mass gatherings following the coronavirus outbreak.## The ceremony will be held here on March 13.## "As a measure of precaution on account of the continuing concern over the COVID 19, the ceremony for ZEE's annual film awards property - Zee Cine Awards 2020 stands cancelled for the general public to avoid mass gatherings. Instead, the awards will now only be shot as a televised show," read a statement.## "We would like to assure the fans who had purchased tickets for the event through our associates and partners that they will be refunded at the earliest. Our viewers and fans can now look forward to catching their favorite Bollywood celebrities during the telecast on March 28, 7.30 p.m onwards on ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema. Hence, when I started playing a villain, I realized there must be some innovation. I never wanted to portray the same role again, that's why I used to improvise my characters. Although, today is a bit different as there is no specialized villain. The era of being the villain or making it a career ended with me. Nowadays, it's not enough to be a villain to be successful," he said.## Expressing his regrets towards a role that was not offered to him, he said: "I remember being approached for this Hollywood movie villain who had a bullet stuck in his neck and he said he could not feel pleasure or pain.
